Robin van Persie has used his official Faebook account to calm fears of disunity at Arsenal and stress the Gunners' season is still far from over.

The Dutch master played down suggestions he had questioned Arsene Wenger's judgement after he substituted Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain during the defeat to Manchester United on Sunday.

"There are plenty of games still left, we have recovered from reverses like this before and we will win again, so anybody writing us off is making a mistake," he wrote on his official page .

"This could still be a good season for us. We have the FA Cup to look forward to and the Champions League.

"We will all be giving 100% to make sure we bring one of those trophies home, hopefully both of them.

"Let's all stick together and fight."

You gonna post the Villa preview soon?

I really think we need to try playing Arshavin in the middle, he won't have to be as mobile (he isn't anyway) and his creativity and defense-splitting passes will be highlighted by the switch and we all know Ramsey isn't ready for that role. He's done as a winger, I think he'd be brilliant as an AM. Hope Wenger shocks us tomorrow by placing him there.
