3 - Per Mertesacker has made more last-man saving tackles than any other Premier League player this season. Brinkmanship.

The FA just tweeted this:
The referee has confirmed he saw the incident involving Robin Van Persie and therefore the Arsenal forward faces no further action.

Re: Arsenal Lobby
ARSENE WENGER put Arsenal through their paces yesterday — in front of big London 2012 Olympic hope Mo Farah.
The British long-distance runner, who took World Championship gold at 5,000m and silver at 10,000m, is a massive Arsenal fan.
He chatted with the club's stars after boss Wenger invited him to watch a training session.
A club spokesman said: "We all know Mo really well and we look forward to watching him at the Olympics."

Arsenal chief Ivan Gazidis cannot guarantee manager Arsene Wenger's job.
Gazidis described Wenger as one of the best managers in the world but hinted his position could be threatened if the club’s six-year trophy drought continues.
“Nobody has a job for life,” said Gazidis in the Daily Express today.

Re: Arsenal Lobby
Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta has urged fans to get behind manager Arsene Wenger.
He has only worked with Wenger for five months, but he is confident the boss can get the best out his players between now and May.
Arteta said: “Wenger is a master psychologist and always tells us the key points to improve our level.
“He insists this squad can do more on the field – that is our objective and the players at Arsenal know it is possible to move up the Premier League table. Defeats will certainly damage any team, but our morale is not broken and we know we can improve.
“Wenger is very important to Arsenal – I have seen that since my first day at the club, and the players are very united with the boss. I understand that the fans were shouting and have been unhappy with results, but I would ask for patience and for them to continue with their support. For the players and the club, that is key.”

Re: Arsenal Lobby
Theo Walcott hit out at his doubters and said: I'm getting back to my best.
Arsenal fans have been on the England star's back in recent games.
But Walcott, who netted in Sunday's FA Cup win over Aston Villa, declared: "I am the best judge of my own performance, not anyone else.
"I wasn't happy with my last few games, but hopefully now I can get back to the level I should be."
Walcott is desperate for some silverware after six barren years at Arsenal.
He added: "I want to look back at my career at the trophies I have won and there are none yet!
"I haven't even got anywhere set aside in the house for when I do get some medals. Not yet.
"This is a cup competition we can win. A lot of big teams have gone out. Hopefully, everyone can believe we can win this."
