Re: Game of Thrones
I thought is was hilarious
Great contrast to how the episode ended. I would have preferred they used this version though

Yeah I would've preferred if they used a subtle version of the song than what they did.
And by far the best scene of the episode was when Tyrion and Bron were surprised that Podrick didn't have to pay the whores.

rofl at that moment when Cersei picked the chair to sit near her father, just tells you a lot about the her relationship with her father

oh yeah that was definitely an awesome scene ad well. Tyrion picking up a chair and dragging it all the way to the head of the table across from his father. That was gold

Re: Game of Thrones
Actually that scene was great because it showed you the mentality of the characters involved.
Littlefinger immediately went for the closest chair, Cerci when she saw the closest chair was taken already picked one up and sat at the other side. Tyrion put his chair at the other head of the table, thought that was pretty cool.

Re: Game of Thrones
Get in there Podrick ....destroying whores until they refuse money
Better episode. I think the show is finally starting to get into its stride. I honestly like Daenerys' scene in Astapor the best. Missandei is kinda hot tbh. She's like 11 or 12 in the book, but damn....not a bad casting decision at all.

Re: Game of Thrones
I understand people hate slow paced episodes. But if you don't take the time to build up characters then nobody really invests in them and when they battle/die/whatever then it's not a big deal.
I mean, spartacus was a show following slaves at constant war, but most of the main good guys died in the last 3 episodes because they have been properly built up.

Boss episode. 9/10 at least
Jamie's hand
Daenery giving up one of her Dragons Do agree with MC that Missandei is pretty hot.
Tyrion is such a brilliant actor. Lol at the scene with Podrick.
The scene when Theon was about to get anal raped

Re: Game of Thrones
Am I the only one who was disappointed that Theon didn't get "*bleep* into the dirt"
Great episode all around.
And I haven't read past book one of the series but I fully expect Dany to turn that army on who she bought it from..can't see her giving up one of her dragons for real, no way. It wasn't so much foreshadowed as pretty much said outright unless you're a complete idiot. (inb4 it doesn't happen)

Re: Game of Thrones
Im not sure if this is even considered a spoiler or not, but I'll put it in the tags just in case, If you plan on reading the books might want to wait until you're finished Storm of Swords (I think, its been awhile tbh) - Its a Theon based story
- Spoiler:
- What does everyone think of the TV series having Theon undergo the torture, but totally ignoring the whole Theon-Reek mental breakdown/transformation? - Also did the TV series make clear who the Bastard of Bolton was? They didn't really distinguish or identify him, did they?

A very bold prediction Firenze. That's the beauty of not knowing. Although I'm glad that I've read the book I wish I didn't know what would happen

- Spoiler:
- it was announced before season 3 that iwan rheon plays the bastard of bolton - he's the guy who keeps "helping" theon get away. i'd assume this is the very beginning of the transformation - they're taking the part from the books where the bastard pretended to be reek, and using it to build theon up before tearing him down. i'd assume one of these episodes the "help" theon is getting turns on its head, and that's the event that causes theon to go through his break.

- Well we were aware of Ramsay Snow in season two when Roose said he'd send his bastard to Winterfell. He's only shown up now though and like steive said is the guy helping him. I'm not sure if I've spoilt this for you but it has been announced already
Anyway Here is something really cool :

Also a special LOL to Robb's uncle in Riverrun (the useless guy with the bow and arrow) I laughed pretty hard in pretty much all the scenes he was in.
The actor did a great job making me hate his incompetence.

- Wait - but doesn't this mean Ramsay killed his own men? When the final guy was shot with the first arrow and was still on his knees, all he said before he got the execution shot was "you little bastard" or something, wouldn't it have been more of a dramatic reaction if he was killed by his own lord, essentially?

Planning to read over the summer
2 more books still to come out, they're supposed to be massive too
On a serious note though...George R.R Martin is in his 60s and overweight - god help us if he passes away before finishing the books
Would be the greatest/worst trolling of all time
I have trouble even remembering what happened in Feast For Crows and Dance of Dragons 1
I think I'm going to have to go back and re-read both loool - might start that soon

- I was thinking the same but after I fully digested the scene I felt it was done to create a twist later where Ramsay shows his true colours for extra rustled jimmies. Also considering the attitude towards bastards in Westeros (or at least the vibe I got) they aren't really respected or seen as heirs, I could be wrong though.

I read somewhere that he's told the creators of the show how he wants the series to end. So we should be OK on that front.

Re: Game of Thrones
Not opening spoilers but I made the same prediction. I had a feeling it would happen and then there was the whole "As soon as you own them, they'll do anything you want" part and if this wasn't a pre-determined tv show I would bet £20 on it happening.
EDIT: Not to mention that the slave master has been talking pure shit to her, no way he's not getting killed by his own army.
Do you think it would be a good idea to create a seperate thread which has NO mention of the books? I know there's a few people here who haven't read them including myself and it'd be a better discussion for both sets of people without spoiler tags and all that.
