Had off from work today, re-watched some season 1 on demand

Holy shit I forgot how annoying Catelyn Stark is...she is one dumb broad

Gets her husband and his guards killed, gets her kids kidnapped, and now shes setting Jamie Lannister free...Jesus lady just off yourself before you screw anything else up

Her hatred of Jon and the how stupid and clueless she looked when she tried to get Tyrion executed for nothing.

Seriously.

Top 5 in my most annoying along with Geoffrey and Cersei and Theon.

and she's more sympathetic in the show than in the books...

Cersei and Theon aren't really annoying IMO...ones mentally ruined and the others a desperate idiot (plus I would hazard a guess we won't have to deal with theon much longer anyway)

Geoffrey and Catelyn Stark are different...they're really just tiresome to watch

Cersei thinks she's more cunning than she actually is, a couple lucky breaks here and there doesn't make a brilliant mind.

Partly agree....Early in the series I really thought she was on annoying c*nt, but this season after Joffrey became "King" (esp. when he asserted himself over her and threatened to kill her) shes sort of just lost her mind and I don't think shes far from total insanity

Cersei craves power is but is clueless about what to do once she actually has it

Catelyn and Sansa are really really annoying characters.

Book Sansa>TV Sansa....she's got far more humility and isn't this prissy upstart that we see in the show. Though in the book, she does give off a serious "damsel in distress" vibe.

I find that everyone is dumb as frack in comparison to Tyrion.

The last few episodes have sort of stagnated. There's just too much shit to be following and 1 hour ain't enough to cover it. I miss all that political backstabbing and the focus being Starks and Lannisters.

Arya has more balls than most of the cast combined. Tywin comes across as a likable villian and I really like their scenes.

Stannis... meh. Daenerys... I want more tits or something because she's been very annoying lately. Snow... extremely desperate to empty his balls and it was all sexual tension with the redhead.

Its not hard to find Dany annoying when all she seems to do anymore is whine about Dragons incessantly...Dragons this, dragons that...

Obviously they're important but at this point it seems like they're going to envelope her entire character..

Well she is the "Mother of Dragons" and what not. Makes sense to me that she would fawn and moan about them all the time. It's Jorah that's so freaking annoying. Unrequited love just doesn't wear itself well on him.

Firm believer that there's a whole lot more to come from Dany though.

The male portray in the series are generally quite accurate and to my liking but the female ones are more sympathetic & humane than the book version which really tip off the balance.

Cersei is just one crazy bitch in the book, her chapters are just hilarious to read. Catelyn & Asha (Yara) are both cold heart and should be that way, I mean one from the North and one is pirate by blood.

Danny storyline seems out of place, Martins probably intent it that way to . While things in Westero could pass off as fairly grounded fantasy, her stuffs are just off the chart, every fantasy cliche there is, dragons are one thing but her companions & encounters as well. I didn't mind it in the book but its screen equivalence generally disrupted the flow of the episodes.

Not being biased as a book reader but from the pilots until now only Ned, Arya & Tyrion performance are solid for me and the ones I'm looking forward to every week.

I liked it first, cause I've you've read it, you don't know what to expect. But it's turning to be boring.

Why didn't they show the Qartheen gowns Daenerys wears Bare breasts and all that.

Agreed, Theres only 1 character that I can recognize by name and thats Jon Snow lol.

The names certainly take a bit to remember, if you watch a couple episodes in a row you catch onto them pretty quickly.

Nope. Fair theory, but I just read further confirmation of Jon Snow's origin in Dance with Dragons. No spoiler or anything, but the mystery is Jon Snow's mom. The actual conception itself isn't. Eddard definitely cheated on Cat, and he was always remorseful of it. But it happened. If he went out of his way for a grand scale conspiracy in order to hide the spawn of his sister and Rhaegar..that would just be an unnecessary complication.

For me, the whole concept of Ed going to war..having just wed his dead brothers wife..finding comfort in the arms of another..bang bang boom boom..and out comes Jon Snow. That fits. Also, even Robert Barratheon made several mentions of Snow's mother in the first book, not too sure about the first season. Sure, he could've been clueless as Ned could've chosen to hide facts from him..but Ned's reactions always pointed towards the existence of a booty call that he always regretted.

Also, I stopped watching season 2 at around the 5th episode because it bored the crap outta me. Definitely gna watch it through and through when the season's done. Anyone else SERIOUSLY disappointed by the Melisandre choice ? I mean for fecks sake..that chic was supposed to blow Cersei outta the water when it came to downright sexiness. But they decided to go with a 50 year old, red head, hellen mirren look alike. Seriously weak.
