I got Canelo. Think he'll be able to cut off the ring and land some good body shots to slow Trout down in the later rounds. The fight is close tho. I highly doubt there will be a stoppage or a ko.

On the Floyd thing Dani, it's just an accumulation of protective measures. He never takes on the toughest challenges. His title run at 135 post Castillo was poor, his run at 140 was poor, and while he has taken on big names at 147 and above, he's doing everything on his terms. Mayweather is maybe the most talented boxer to ever step foot in the ring, but he doesn't prove himself. He's like Roy Jones back in the day. When scrutinised, his resume of names doesn't match his unbelievable level of ability.

I'll just use one example to explain myself. May 2012 - Floyd Mayweather climbs a weight division on Junior Middleweight champion Miguel Cotto. On paper that's spectacular. Look closer though and you see all that glitters is not gold. In reality Mayweather is a bigger man. Cotto moved to 154 for two reasons
1) He got demolished at Welterweight by Margarito & Manny, opportunities were limited, he was out of the title scene, there weren't many fights left for him there
2) 154 was convenient. He walked into a title shot against one of the worst champions ever in Yuri Foreman. Foreman blew his knee out in the fight and was eventually put out of his misery

Forget about weight. It's the calibre of opponent I'm talking about here. I don't buy this line that weight affecting him against Pacquiao. He weighed in one pound less than he had done in his previous fight. Yuri Foreman could weight 180lbs and Cotto should still beat him. They're in completely different leagues. Next up was Ricardo Mayorga. 37 years old and 7/8 years past his prime. Cotto handles him easily, as expected. Cotto then took on the rematch with Margarito and looked great in that fight. Margarito was *bleep* over from the beginning in that fight though. Manny took his eye out of his socket a year earlier. It was target practice. A formality.

Now we come to Cotto-Mayweather. Floyd wins and grabs himself another belt in another weight division. Cotto subsequently gets dominated by the only legit junior middleweight he ever faced in Austin Trout a coupe of months later. Still, it was a good win. The time for this fight though was 4/5 years earlier. They were both champions. Floyd told everyone that Cotto 'lived too far away' and chose to bring Ricky Hatton up to 147 instead (having looked poor in his only other fight at the weight vs Collazo). He beat Hatton then retired. At that time the Welterweight division was stacked with Cotto, Margarito, Mosley, Williams. Floyd waited for them all to beat each other or move up in weight then came back. I'm sorry, but bitch move.

This is the kind of thing Floyd always does. Do you think he'll be going back up to 154 to take on Saul Alvarez? Not a chance. He's too happy fighting guys who won't threaten his 0

Khan BARELY won. And i mean BARELY.

I don't know wtf is wrong with him. Cruising in the first 6 rounds. Got absolutely smashed in the last 4.

nearly got knocked out 3 times. Dont know how he survived in the end.

Won unanimously in the end but barely.

Khan is definitely on the slide, when he lost to Prescott & Garcia he used the excuse "I was dominating until I got caught" but Diaz outboxed him for alot of the fight, thats a worrying sign for Amir.

He has a terrible defense and if his boxing skills start decreasing he would be no more than a decent domestic fighter.

Virgil looked concerned towards the end. Even after the fight he was saying how khan has to do A LOT of work before he can challenge for the title again.

His next fight is in December so let's hope he improves. But doubt it.

Murray was a tough fight for Martinez. In the end Martinez forced his way to a narrow decision victory. big disappointment however it was a hard fight murray had the perfect plan and executed it verywell credit to him.

The Chavez fight took a lot out of Martinez and he rushed back too quick, at his age he needs to take more time off to recover from the torn ACL and broken hand he had against chavez, because he reinjured those exact same injuries in this fight.

Martinez sad to say is on the downside, he is offically in decline. No shame at his age but its the reality.

Getting easier and easier to hit, doesnt move the same and the injuries are just pilling up now.

Agree he came back earlier which lead to the same reinjuries, but at the same time the signs are still there of decline.

I can imagine Flloyd, Canelo or even Cotto are thinking about it now.

Garcia-Judah was a bad ass fight. Judah finally showing heart Proud Anyway hope Garcia finally fights the winner MAtthysse-Peterson.

And Martinez may be slowing down, but I'm pretty certain he can comeback and still compete at high level. He's supposedly out for the rest of the year which kills Chavez jr's plans lol Hopefully JR takes on GGG by the end of the year and faces Martinez on May Day next year to become the newest GOAT Proud

1. Martinez is no longer elite.

2. GGG looks great but is still to be really tested.

3. Beating those 2, dont make you elite..it makes you the best of the non elite

4. Which elite fighter do you know who has been as un-talented and undedicated as him? Hes a fat heavyweight pot head drug cheat who fights at middleweight because of the drugs.

Martinez made him look total shit if not for a miracle one punch which in the end meant nothing.

1. Martinez is still elite. One bad night doesn't change that. He fought with a messed up knee his hand was broken , etc etc The list goes on.

2.Golovkin is killing everyone right now. No one wants any of him. Beating him would be huge.

3. Taking out the best two of your division especially when its golovkin and Martinez does make you elite ffs

4. y u hating

5. Arguing about hypothetical wins is pretty dumb lol

Anyway may 5 is nearly here. I'm pretty excited to see Floyd back. Hopefully he has declined Proud

I dont think Martinez is elite because of more than 1 night. I have seen the last 6 Martinez fights, in all of them he is has been easier to hit than previously..only the Chavez one was he actually avoiding taking damage (till the end) funny enough lol

He dont move like he used to, hes on burrowed time for me.

Of course beating GGG would be huge, noone wants him...but the truth is, we dont know just how good he is because everyone avoiding him.

Nope beating those two dont make you elite, your elite if you have the skills to be elite..hardly anyone consider Klit brothers elite and one of them aint ever lost without it being an injury and if people bothered to watch, they would see they actually have the skills..being the best dont make you elite funny enough, its about how good you really are.

Is Tim Brad elite?

No hate, just can see...dont be so bias man, what is said is mostly accurate..he got caught taking drugs, he is often overweight and loses more weight one weigh in day than any fighter in history and then comes into the ring the same weight as heavyweights...thats just a fact no?
