A few rumors circulating again today, with Quagliarella being the center of attention. The Juve striker is being linked to us, with Sabatini on his trail. Internacional's Damiao is also being linked to us. And... (this is for you Dave)... Mauricio Isla's agent confirmed today that his client is attracted by the possibility of joining Roma, but such a move will only happen as of next June if it does. Same goes for Werder Bremen's Marko Marin.

Meanwhile, Stefano Okaka might be on his way out in January as he is struggling to break into the first team.

I gave up on Isla last year...Pozzo wants the most money. I highly doubt we can compete with offers from the likes of Barcelona/Real Madrid/Man City/ Inter etc.

This guy will make Pozzo another fortune.

Isla opens Udinese exit



Mauricio Isla has reacted to links with Inter by claiming that it may be best for him to leave Udinese in the summer.

The wing-back has been mentioned as a possible addition to the Nerazzurri squad, especially if Douglas Maicon leaves San Siro in 2012.

“I would like to join a big club,” the 2007 signing from Universidad Catolica wrote on his personal website.

“After five seasons at Udinese, I think that the moment to leave this club has arrived.”

Although Isla sees his future away from the Stadio Friuli, he’s determined to prove his worth in the Bianconeri jersey.

“I have to continue working hard every day,” added the Chilean. “I’ve been treated well at Udinese so, at this moment, I’m concentrating on them and nothing else.”

Isla, 23, has scored one goal in five Serie A appearances so far this term.

He's gunna have to leave soon anyway. As long as we replace him adequately, it's something we have to do. He has rather high wages, especially for the amount of games he plays. Yes, he is our best central defender, but he's just not reliable anymore due to his rather poor fitness.

A number of players are being linked with a move away from the club in January, namely Juan, Cassetti, Taddei, Greco, Okaka and Borriello. Cassetti is being tracked by a club in Dubai, while Juve is in for Juan.

In the event that we do lose one or two strikers, we're said to be keeping track of Podolski, also attracting the attention of Napoli. We are also looking to re-enforce both full-back positions.

We should hold onto Juan at least till the end of the season.

Taddei should leave I don't see a place for him in this team,not with the formation were playing.

Boriello is TOTAL crap compared to Tevez. That guy can change the game, Boriello can only wait for a pass for 90 minutes..

Tevez's off the field situation could be toxic to our project. If not for that, I wouldn't mind us having him though he is vastly overpriced.

Ferdinand isn't what we need either. When SAF starts to lose faith in a player like that then he knows his time at the top is done.

I'd love to see us get another young CB....I really think we should make a move for FC Koeln's Geromel, could prove an astute replacement for Juan. One of the best defenders in Germany.

I would like an Italian acquisition as well, but the only one linked to us has been Schelotto.

Capdevila has also been linked to us, along with Podolski (very unlikely) and Granero. Guarin's name has also come back up today.

schelotto would be an amazing signing. very similar player to taddei/camoranesi except he's very capable of playing right wing back and has played there before. seeing how LE wants attacking fullbacks, we could very well see him play there. i personally find him better than any of our current full/wing backs

Schelotto would be a quality signing ,guy can play anywhere on the right,wouldn't cost to much either.

Yup Schelotto would be a very good signing, would fit in the rotation system of Enrique.

He reportedly wants out of Atalanta so we could very well make a swoop for him in January. Would be a quality signing. He fits exactly what LE's looking for.

I think we need to ship some players out before bringing any new faces in. Cicinho automatically comes to mind. Taddei and Cassetti are also on that list (though I would actually be saddened by those losses, but we gotta do what we gotta do).

lobont too. i think we'll do fine with curci as backup. theres not much between the 2 and we only need 1 of them

taddei/cassetti definitely should be sold, to siena perhaps

perrotta maybe but depends how much LE can still get out of him performance-wise. and we shouldn't keep simplicio if LE doesn't like playing him. we should also at least loan out okaka again

Cassetti seems to be on his way to Dubai. Simplicio could still be useful, but Enrique doesn't seem to think so. Perrotta still has his spot on the team, while Okaka is also definitely leaving in January.
