I'd bet Man City's entire plastic, prosthetic, pathetic arm off for 30m. I don't believe anyone would pay that much for him though...although it is Man City.

I would not pay more than 20m for him at this stage. Although a lot of people discuss as he could potentially do great things on a different team with a different role.

As for Agger, I don't think its wise to buy him now. Though have him if we can't get anyone in the summer...

As-well us being linked to Marquinhos (18-year-old center back) who currently plays for Roma, a number was thrown out saying around 20-25m if this is true do you guys think we have given up on Barta?
Neymar has announced he is going to make up his mind whether or not he'll stay in brazil for 2014 at the end of the season so maybe some potential good news.

Do you really think the chances of Masche leaving are so little? I'd put them on 50% with Roura's lack of rotation (if this continues) and likelihood we'll be signing a class CB. Then again, the fact that there are no rumors linked to him means he's probably not on the market.

Lack of rotation isnt much of a worry, Puyol will miss half the games anyway. Pique gets suspended for so little too, he gets yellow cards easier than any player I know (without the reputation of being dirty) so there will always be minutes of Mascherano really.

Even if we sign someone, I doubt Mascherano will move on simply because as you touched on, there is no talk of it seemingly at all.

And to Mascherano's credit, he is a fantastic personality, never complains, never demands to play more and just accepts his role.

It suits everyone..except the fans, who can see he isnt very good.

As much as I think it would be a good thing for both parties,I just don't see it happening.

The technical staff seem to love him and we know what happened last time there was a player like that (Keita).

Since there's no speculation of him moving, just our desires, I doubt it will happen.

It's a shame because I think we need to sign someone, but I'd like Bartra as our #4.

I've listened to some Mascherano interviews on the radio and the due is just wonderful. He accepts his role as a backup and is not overplayed like Keita was. Plus, if he goes we will have to buy a new Argentine pal for Messi, and you never know how that can turn out. I wouldn't mind him to stay.

Yeah he has a great attitude, a fantastic professional and a leader. One day he might even be a good coach. But he is not good enough as a sub, his best form is when he gets started constantly and should look for constant playing time ahead of the world cup. As kizz said, it would be the best thing for all parties.

I don't think he doesn't want to leave, and I don't see Barça wanting him to move either, so I think the parties invovled think the opposite as of now.

Oh of course hes not finished, I still believe in him, hes one of my favourite players.

Just wouldnt be my number 1 option right now is all, especially as I dont think he plays very well wider and we already someone similar positionally in Villa who I believe we would be crazy to let leave.

if you guys buy verm, then id be convinced that your scouts dont actually analyse your transfer targets at all, just go on reputation. i have a strong feeling you are going to buy him.
