Ridiculous decision if true.

Means Blind and Darmian will fill in at the back when one of the crocks get an inevitable injury. Blind coudl even be our new CB to partner Smalling or Jones, wouldn't put past LVG and his dumb experiments.

I dislike Ramos as a human being or better said I hate his attitude on the pitch. Though, he is one of the best defenders in the world. However, he would suffer in EPL at aerial duels when defending. He is very good in attack at aerial duels but in defensive he is weak and a defender should firstly know how to defend not how to attack.

I think he would have adapted well at Man United. Shame he isn't coming.

I didn't watch him at Atletico and honestly don't know much about him in general since I don't watch the league outside of clasico's but I heard a lot of talk that he had inflated stats last season and performed shite for a large majority of it?

what position does he even play, I always thought he was a left sided winger who can also play centrally, at least that's how he's used on FIFA Proud

Glad we didnt buy Pedro for the quoted price. Especially considering how badly the di maria saga went for us. Long term its a very good decision. No more mercenaries who want out of their galactico clubs owing to lack of playtime. What we need are younger hungrier players who give the club their all. And its been the way this club has operated over the years unlike the short term success seekers such as city and chelsea. We attempted to break away from that tradition and didnt augur well. So this IS the right move.
I would gladly give Pereira a full go on the right over a 29 y.o Pedro if we cant fetch anyone before the window closes.

P.S Now Woody dont make me criticize you tomorrow after you lodged a 30 mil bid for Sadio mane. pale

What? Where would he play? He's an AM/LW/SS. Pedro was the perfect van Gaal player. Follows instructions, fast, doesn't try fancy stuff that disrupts the team shape, can play on either flank, the most ambidextrous player I have ever seen and can score goals from wide.

We don't need big signings. We need smart signings like Darmian. I hope we get another striker. Rooney is finished.

We have lost a lot of credibility this transfer market. Getting done in by Chelsea and City....nice one Dickward.

Pretty sure Valdes and his treatment by lvg had a say in this. Might have forced him to reconsider. Also chelsea's latest result of course. Mourinho would have gone nuts and would have begged him on the phone to come play for them. Laughing

Glad in that sense that they didnt buy anyone bigger like a Griezman or a Reus. It's only Pedro after all. ( Neutral

Hope this sentence wont come and bite me and he start scoring and assisting for fun. So just in case I am putting an anti jinx .... ehh spell! )

Anyway as I said I am not that fussed about this. It would have been an upgrade for us certainly. But it would be sending the wrong signals to our young players.
I will only become agitated if we now go and buy an inferior winger (read it as Mane) for the same money. That will defeat the purpose and if that happens I too will mourn for missing out on Pedro. So until then I am content with Woodward. Lets see what's his response is. We definitely need 1 or 2 new additions before the window shuts close.

Why does the club think they can get Muller and/or Bale? they are both settled and content at better teams, plus why would RM and Bayern sell? and who could they replace them with at this moment in time.

Baffles me as to why we're constantly linked with both.

Mane is an interesting one. Let's see how that one unfolds. Could well be a diversion tactic from us as we pursue another target.

We're on the verge( according to to countless reports late last night and this morning) of signing Anthony Martial. Great potential, like Memphis, but for a huge sum of money.

Surely we need another 1 or 2 attackin players? Preferably RW and another Striker.

Also vital we don't let DDG go now. No matter what, we all saw just how mediocre Romero was yesterday.

I think that Romero performance yesterday will mean we keep DDG 100%, I just hope he doesn't say YOLO this season if/when he's brought back into the squad. Would rather play Romero all season than an unmotivated GK.

you don't think we need a legit CB too? there aren't any on the market though hmm

we definitely could use another forward on top of Martial

honestly wouldn't mind taking a punt on someone like Stone Cold Charlie Austin as a third choice

those Mane rumors have died since they broke but I'd take a punt on him too
