How do you have a bye week and then get killed by the pathetic Bills.

I still think Geno's got the talent to succeed but he's gotta start showing more in the next 7 weeks or we should be looking at a QB. To be fair to him, we have no run game. No weapons besides Santonio who's been injured half the year.

Lost by like 9 points too which he could've gotten easily.

Probably because he was having trouble picking up the blitz. It's been an issue since he made his first start at KC, but still putting in Schaub was a joke. Kubiak just needs to go.

Pats lose a controversial one in Carolina.
That definite pass interference on that play, you can clearly see Gronk being held and pulled all over the place.

Not pass interference. Didn't effect the play at all, Gronk wasn't getting in front of Lester regardless. Had Brady not underthrown the ball, it gets called.

Oh, come on dmize. Laughing

You know that was PI. Gronk was getting into position to receive that ball and was clearly 'ushered' away from it.

Pass wasn't underthrown, Brady just had to get PC after his outburst at the refs. Laughing

No, I don't.

Gronk was drifting to the back before contact was even made. But somehow you believe he was gonna come up 5 yards to jump in front of a faster and better positioned DB in Lester. If you really think he was gonna catch that LaughingLaughing Maybe he could've made the catch... by running through Lester.

and not only that: from Dean Blandino himself: "Because once the ball is touched you cannot have pass interference. "

It's the same reason when the ball is tipped at the line of scrimmage you can wreck the receiver before the ball is there.

If you wanna say it's holding sure, but that's not PI and only a 10 yard advancement not the ball at the 1.

I say smart play by Kuechly, he knew you can get away with a little more at the end.

Always hilarious to see poor sport Brady whining though. Couldn't even muster up the decency to congratulate Cam.

Also Dez Bryant drops f bombs to officials = bad teammate, out of control. Tom Brady does = he's just being passionate, a leader. Hilarious double standard.

Learn the difference.

But I, for one, am the type of fan where if a play is close(and clearly it was with the debate on the net), the refs should let 'em play. Three refs got together discussed it and felt it wasn't a penalty, I'm inclined to think all 3 don't have anti-Patriot bias.

That was a penalty no matter what, maybe the refs were too intimidated to make that call at the last second but it's an absolute travesty nothing got called. As Brady said about the balls catchability "I'm sure there's a first time for everything."

I didn't watch them this week. Too disgusted after their last "showing".

I'm not willing to write off Geno yet, only because he had NO weapons this season. After Holmes who was hurt for like 8 games, we have a bunch of scrubs lol.

That said if there's a good QB there in the 1st round, I want us to take em.

People getting killed over this game... man the south takes football way too seriously

http://www.clarionledger.com/viewart/20131202/NEWS03/131202033/Ala-woman-charged-killing-fellow-Bama-fan-after-Iron-Bowl-loss-

BIRMINGHAM, ALA. — A woman charged with killing a fellow Alabama fan after the end of last weekend's Iron Bowl football game was angry that the victim and others didn't seem upset over the Crimson Tide's loss to archrival Auburn, said the sister of the slain woman.

Adrian Laroze Briskey, 28, was charged Monday with murder in the killing of 36-year-old Michelle Shepherd.

Hoover police Capt. Jim Coker said both Birmingham women were Alabama fans and at the same party for the annual game between interstate rivals. With no time left on the clock, Auburn returned a missed Crimson Tide field goal more than 100 yards for a 34-28 victory, dashing any hopes of Alabama playing for a third straight national championship.

The victim's sister, Nekesa Shepherd, said she witnessed the killing and had no doubt it was about football, even though it was unclear to investigators whether the violence was motivated by the game.

"That's one of the things we are investigating," Coker said Monday.

Nekesa Shepherd said Briskey flew into a rage when she saw the sisters and others joking that the Crimson Tide's loss wasn't as bad as if the NBA's Miami Heat had lost a game.

"She said we weren't real Alabama fans because it didn't bother us that they lost. And then she started shooting," Shepherd told The Associated Press.

Shepherd said she and her sister were invited to the party by a mutual friend who also invited Briskey. About two dozen people were on hand.

Shepherd, the mother of three, was shot to death in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the Birmingham suburb of Hoover and the women did not know each other before the party, Coker said.

Court records were not available to show whether Briskey has a lawyer. She has only had a couple of speeding tickets in the past, records show.

Coker said alcohol might have been involved, but investigators are awaiting the results of toxicology tests to make a determination.

Shepherd said Briskey drank multiple shots of liquor during the game and "went crazy" when she heard people joking after 'Bama lost.

"It was over a football game," said Shepherd. "I'm never going to forget it because she died in my arms."

The NFL was the reason that defensive backs like TJ Ward have to hit low now. If he lays out Gronk with a normal big hit, it's a "defenseless receiver" penalty, additional 15yards and maybe a fine.

I don't like the new rules at all. No only is it making the game less physical but having guys knees torn up isn't a whole lot better than concussions.

Roger Goodell...

Yeah I agree, these new rules are really not an improvement at all. Loosin so many great players to knee injury -.- We have lost so many key players to injury, not all due to knee obviously. But damn we're unlucky at the moment, Mayo, Wilfork, Gronk, Talib (partially), Vollmer... seriously what is that Laughing
