Yeah, that's part of it, but their defense needs work especially their secondary. The Colts should start Dan Orlovsky(UConn alum), he's not great, but he's certainly better than Painter. If you watched the last drive he went like 4-6 and actually moved the ball down the field for the Colts. Also, Donald Brown needs more carries. IMO he's better than Carter(he also went to UConn so maybe I'm biased).

THC, what do you think of Andrew Luck? Do you think the Colts should draft him and have him sit a few years behind Manning?

Too bad the Pats-Colts rivalry won't be renewed in the playoffs this year (judging on the situation)

the Colts are the Arsenal of the NFL. LOL

Except Arsenal have recently stopped sucking.

What rivalry? To my knowledge the Pats used to beat on the Colts for fun. When I first got into the NFL and decided to support the Raiders, back when they had Rich Gannon and Tim Brown. So Tom Brady has basically been shutting my team(s) down for the last decade.

@Dmize, I don't watch enough NFL to offer any valid opinion, I just keep up via ESPN. I really only make time for football these days, I can't be bothered with the constant commercials of the NFL, NBA, MLB and so on.

Luck would have to be the choice for the Colts if they get the number one pick. He supposedly is the most NFL ready QB ever according to most people but until he proves himself in the NFL it is not a guarantee, anyone remember Ryan Leaf, Jamarcus Russel, Ty Detmer, Brady Quinn, Rick Mirer, Matt Lienart, Tim Couch were all supposed to be "can't miss" QB's who also play in the pro style offense coming out of college. But this is a gamble that the Colts have to take, they cant go through another season like this without a decent back up for Manning, Orlovsky and Painter because they both suck, they are born sideline cap models. So without a doubt Luck should be their pick if they have it. Unless the Rams get it and trade it to some team for a bunch of picks who wants Luck that bad. But for sure Colts should take him number one if possible and then let him sit behind Manning for however long Manning wants to continue. Just my opinion

The thing with Luck, is his camp made a statement saying they would "pull an Eli" if they didn't like the team that picked him. Not sure exactly what that means but I took it to mean he doesn't want to sit behind Manning for 3-4 years.

Theres only so many places he could go, most teams have alot of money wrapped up in the QB spot to draft him. But if he does want to play right away then it seems the Dolphins will be the place for him

Yeah Miami looks likely, and as a Jet fan I really don't want to see Luck there.

I was hoping Miami's D would get them a few wins to keep them out of the cellar but it doesn't look like that's going to happen.

Nah I'm not too big of a fan of the SEC. I expect Bama' to just roll tho "lol".

Some people are calling this the game of the century.."No comment".

My guess is Catracho is watching this too bad Saban always gets his revenge.

Yeah I don't get that at ALL, ESPN hype machine in full force again.

LSU's a good team but I think Jarrett Lee's a bit overrated. I said before the game he'll have double the number of picks he's had through all 8 games combined against 'Bama and he's already got one. They should use Jefferson more imo.

How awful is Verne Lundquist, seriously.

"Jefferson throws it deep... INTERCEPTED!" "Oh wait I mean caught by Randle, 1st down"

The guy's borderline scenile he doesn't even know where he is half the time, let alone what's going on in a game. I'm convinced CBS just doesn't have the heart to fire the guy.

I remember this gem.
*Arkansas player picks up fumble inside his own 50 and runs it back to the goal line*
Verne Lundquist: "but was it an incomplete pass?"

Jets defense out there looking beastly against the Bills, too bad Fez threw that pick after driving 85 yards on the opening drive.

Didn't the Ravens beat you guys the one time you played lol.

Regardless, I think I like the Steelers in this game. They're playing better football now, Baltimore's playing worse football(or at least Flacco is). 21-17 Steelers

Hate to say this but I almost don't really mind if the Pats win this one. I'd rather not face them coming off 2 consecutive losses, because it's extremely unlikely(imo) that they lose 3 straight.

I was actually taking this game in at the bar, went out with my volleyball team after our game. I'm not the best at observing defense in NFL, but the game seems quite dull. Quite a bit of fumbles, this wasn't my kind of game. I was actually pulling for the Pats, it could have been the annoying Giants fans at the bar. Have you been watching this game, dmize?

Another mixed game from Tebow, but we won. That's all that matters.

imo he just bought himself another two weeks.

Yeah, the game was boring for about 3 quarters but the 4th quarter was great. There was like 4-5 lead changes. Each QB led their teams down the field at the end to score, Eli just did it twice. Good win for the Giants, and now there's a 3 way tie atop the AFC East. Things are looking up for the Jets, I think if we beat the Pats next week, we'll take the division. After the Pats, our 4 opponents are Broncos, Bills, Redskins, Chiefs; should win all of them.

Yeah, I saw some highlights, good win for the Broncos. The Raiders aren't a bad football team either, they're pretty good at times.

These late games were all crazy. 45-38 Packers beat the Chargers, sealed the game on a late INT. Rams-Cards had a great ending too, going into overtime.
