It took til November for Meireles to make his first assits, and til january to score his first goal. THE OVER-RATED ENGLISH KID, assisted in his 3rd game and scored in his 4th ..the pony tail scally wag has 3 goals in 10, better than 1 in 21 spaniard tart ...and a top cheater is a must in teams who want to compete.

because we play much more fliud football and more as a team. not to mention our defense has actually been more solid than theirs so far, despite them having the so called bIGGER NAMES in defense. they;ve been lucky Tchoy and Holt have been rubbish to punish them.

I dont know between Chelsea and Liverpool but definitely the latter has found some identity since Kenny arrived.

I think they could do better in transfer market though.. if players dont click, expecting another Juventus situation... shit scouting system.

We're still yet to have a proper defense fielded when Luiz is back(hopefully this week). About fluidity, we're playing like **** and somehow still getting results so when we start playing properly with our real players back I shall be excited

Person I was most keen for was Montolivo as many Chelsea sites/blogs pointed out, he's cheap, Fiorentina wanted to sell him as he wasn't interested in the project and he's more of the player we were looking for. Either him or Moutinho. Oh well, I guess we'll see how this turns out.

I've seen my fair share of wingers convert to AM. Well , it's pretty clear that they have more quality up front than in midfield so maybe they'll try him out. If they're playing 4-3-3 then he can play in the iniesta role who starts from a wide position.Mierles deep , ramires b2b and mata tucked inside right midfield.

Very different type of players we are talking about here. Iniesta is a natural midfielder who is skillful enough to use his dribbling, speed and passing and make a great winger.

Mata is a natural forward, who is skillful and smart enough to add other things to his game, but it's not sure he will reach the sort of playmaking level Iniesta is at.

If we were talking about Silva and Iniesta, i would have agreed. The only player we produced lately who is like Silva or Iniesta, is Sarabia.

Let's not forget that Iniesta is quite a talent, and have been pretty exceptionally coached when reaching his prime.

Meireless will be useful to Chelsea he is different to the rest of midfielders they have.

Agreed, I admit I dont know as much as I should about Mata , however , players adapt to circumstances, so don't be suprised if that's exactly the role he takes up and don't be suprised if he finds a way to excel at it.

Sarabia really needs to accomplish something to earn his reputation.Hopefully he gets to start at getafe so we can all get a more solid read on him than imagining our own personal fantasies of what he is.
