Don't understand why Guardado and Banega were loaned out. Or Canales was sold to Sociedad.

Senderos and Keita...too old.

Vargas the Napoli reject.

Otamendi would be a good replacement for Rami.

Araújo is the only typical Valencia signing. Sign an unknown youngster who would (hopefully) become a good player in the future.

Bernat has been good at LB, he's got a bit of Alba in him so I rather keep Mathieu in the centre where his composure and technique is needed.

I'm more worried about RB...Barragan offers absolutely nothing going forward and he's nothing special in defence either. Why isn't João Pereira playing? I thought he was good performed well last season.

I think Barragan is OK at Defending and he's done good when he's gone forward.

Forgot about Bernat actually, I'm guessing Pizzi prefers him over anyone else and also the reason why Barragan is starting so much. Pizzi loves Attacking from the left but to make up for the lack of cover Mathieu swing towards the left forcing more emphasis on Defending from the right, which Barragan offers.

Mathieu has just been horrendous at CB, though. Even the bottom sides have taken advantage of Matieu's positioning. Really glad we signed Senderos.

Wikipedia has Vinicius with 16 games and 7 goals. Not bad, I suppose. Potential is there though, I've yet to see Vinicius in action.

Senderos is 28, he's at a good age. Smile

Don't know much abaout Keita since he's away from Europe though I imagine he hasn't dipped much since his peak.

Right now I'm looking forward to Otamendi. Seen some good stuff from him from Porto and also Diego Reyes' opportunity to start for Porto has improved.

Canales is gone. 3.5 Million. The guy just had too much competition. We have a bunch of players who can play AM, ATM. Feghouli and Parejo have been revelations. Also the injury made a dent in his developing process. Wish him the best.

Last year Real Sociedad were average, a 3-2 win vs Barcelona in January and they made along run of unbeaten matches ended up qualifying to the Champions League...

Valencia doing the same this season...

Since January there has been much talk about a Takeover at Valencia, it was linked with Singaporean billionaire Peter Lim, today however it was confirmed that Peter Lim's bid to acquire the club was rejected as he didn't present the required documents, However there are other bid's which are now in phase 2 of the operation to finalise the deal.

If all goes well i can see Valencia making some big transfers in the summer, they have already acquired the services of Otamendi who is currently on loan to Atlético Mineiro, Vargas came on loan from Napoli along with Keita.

What i find strange though is that Banega, Helder Postiga, Guardado and Pabon all went out on loans whilst Canales was sold...sounds like a clean up to me.

Valencia is a very big club in Spain, i feel in time they will reach the heights of 2000-2001

Atletico Madrid have shown this season that with the right manager, good purchases and a great work ethic teams are capable of competing with the big two of Barca and RM.

It's quite disappointing that the whole Malaga project, or whatever it was called, never really had the backing and support behind it the Qatari owners promised.

because nobody wanted to buy them outright lol... banega has the mental capacity of a 12-year old, postiga and guardado are shit, and pabon seems like a money laundering scheme since we only own 50% of his rights

anyway, we're probably gonna end up with some vulture capitalist who will offer bankia the best deal on the debt, then sell the debt to someone else for profit, and *bleep* the club over... not holding my hopes up

So Costa deserves 0 credit for what he is doing and all the credit should go to Simeone?

The only times he did not turn up is vs Barca and the Copa Del Rey matches against Madrid, other than that he has always shown up and did his job.

League game vs Real.

Every CL game especially the two Milan ones.

He was clutch. This guy is a match winner, big or small. And in the Copa Del Rey half the Atletico team was out and the entire team played shit.
