At this. That's what Adit said before this season.
Seriously though. We'll make it again. Apperantly, you must have forgotten we signed Guradado and Joao Perriera.

Re: Valencia Thread
Valencia have announced on their official website that they have successfully concluded contract negotiations with striker Roberto Soldado.
The Spain international has inked a new deal with the Primera Division side until the summer of 2017. Soldado joined Valencia from Getafe in 2010, and has since developed into a key player at Los Che.

Thanks for the contribution MT.
Hopefully he won't have another dry spell but serously Soldado seems to be Fire N' Ice type of player.

Valencia only have 12 million to spend according to SD.
Jose angel and Bruno soriano for 12 million ?

Who needs Bruno? We have Tino.
Plus I'd spend those 12 Mil on Gameiro and it looks like it might happen.

Re: Valencia Thread
gago has been bought and i think we have got too many wingers(including piatti) so we must switch over to 4-3-3 for some good build up play and this would also increase the no of chances we get as we have canales parejo and costa as good attacking midfielders and i believe that in canales we have got another david silva....so what do you all think about 4-3-3 employment ?

4-3-3 needs good wide players and a forward which can participate in bulid up plays. As good as piati and guardado is they are clearly not elite and soldado is not suited to the 'link up' role either.
I think pellegrino will stick with Valencia's classic 4-2-3-1 with Gago as a cover for Banega.
It wont surprise me if Valencia play Gago- Banega against the relegation teams either.
welcome to the forum
Re: Valencia Thread
Gago and Canales signed for 12 million.
Gago for 3.5 and canales for 7.5. Former took a pay cut from 3.5 mill to 1.5 mill euros.

Re: Valencia Thread
but it is that 4-2-3-1 is not the solution to have some great play on the field(at least i believe) and a variation in 4-3-3 by playing soldado as second striker in centre , guardado and pablo hernandez in the wings canales and tino costa as left and right central midfielders(attacking mentality) and our ever banega as central defensive midfielder can make much difference. also if both wingers make inside runs it will effectively increase the number of chances(now imagine the formation and play) More chances~Great chances=More goals~Great goals~More reputationAdit wrote:Himroh wrote:gago has been bought and i think we have got too many wingers(including piatti) so we must switch over to 4-3-3 for some good build up play and this would also increase the no of chances we get as we have canales parejo and costa as good attacking midfielders and i believe that in canales we have got another david silva....so what do you all think about 4-3-3 employment ?

Formations are reflection of other teams tactics and the players available to your own team.
I understand what you are saying but do you have the players to make it happen on the field?
Soldado cant play SS role. He is a pure 9 who leads the line, as i said he doesnt have the technical qualities to drop into midfield and link up with Canales (as your formation is supposed to work).
Plus As great as the Tino-Banega-Canales trio is they cant solely create chances for the wingers cutting in.Only team that has a midfield to create goal scoring chances single handed is the Barca trio.
Your wide players are not good enough for 4-3-3 nor can Soldado play a SS (benzema Madrid role )//
Re: Valencia Thread
okay i won't argue on that with you but i would like to have pellegrino employing this in one of the friendlies

Re: Valencia Thread
This is about that 4-3-3 you suggested, Himroh.
Soldado can't play SS. He's a 9 through and through.
Guardado isn't the sort of player to play Wing Forward. He's more of a Wing Back or Side Midfielder. Pablo and Piatti can do what you ask though.
Tino, Canales, and Banega is good idea but then you'd have Defensive issues as none bar Banega and Tino somewhat actually recover the ball in the Middle. Gago, Banega, Canales is the way to go IMO. With Canales as the Right Midfielder that Veers into the Middle and thus let's Joao Pereira Cover the right zone. Guardado will go into the Left with Mathieu behind him. And in the Hole I'd honestly like someone like Gameiro or Canales.

Re: Valencia Thread
Now this is not only disappointing but downright scandalous. No posts for nearly one month was unacceptable but the continued silence even after drawing RM is just sacrilege. Come on Hispano, Che & co.
I depend on this forum for some much needed insight (news & views) for my favorite team in Spain.

Re: Valencia Thread
Sorry for the drought guys but right now it seems my internet time is more limited than I thought it'd be a few weeks ago. Worse still, I now have no access to La Liga or Serie A or even the goatdamned Russian League (and I was seriously getting into it), just the local Latin American Leagues and MLS, along with Bundesliga, Eredivisie, and EPL.
