Tchouameni is out for 2 months with a stress fracture in his left foot!

While I’ll agree we didn’t have the best performance yesterday, you have to give credit to Xavi and Barca. In that first half they had us completely held.

But I’ll agree that the use of Mendy and Rodrygo made it easier for them. That plus the emotional responses of Vinicius is a problem. It seems other team can easily get under his skin and he takes himself out of game! That’s a recipe that other teams no doubt have seen and will use against him. We desperately need him to mature and use his brain instead of emotions.

But I really like this team overall. I think having both Kroos and Modric on board, for what likely is their final season is invaluable to Valverde, Camavinga, Tchouameni and Bellingham. They all are still developing and this gradual adaptation to full time starters is working out great. For those of you criticizing the formation, I feel you are way off base. It is the formation that makes Bellingham and the team overall florish. The only problems with it are personal, both Rodrygo and Vinicius. Vinicius has been steadily adapting to the role and if he can only control his emotions, he can be one of the best players in world. Rodrygo has become a liability, that will be solved next season when we acquired the forward we are seeking. For this season, Joselu is a much better option and I at this point would give Brahim more opportunities, plus we may even see Güler with some opportunities in that position.

Bellingham clutch again.

Camavinga and Modric changed the game.

Can Brahim do what Modric does?

i don't see why he can't. I'm not saying he will be Modric, but he has the skillset to play in the middle of the park. and he won't have the need or pressure to score goals as an attacking mid. we have Jude for that.

Maybe Guler can. Once fit

Is Guler a better player than Brahim?

Brahim looked good as a 10.

Played closer to Vini and Rodrygo.

Different to Bellingham, who likes to run from deep.

Wonder if he can play with Bellingham.

I only saw the highlights, but Brahim is looking fantastic. That was a tough goal as well to score. I hope he gets more chances. I think Jude and him can easily play together. Rodrygo has more of a natural ability at striker then brahim but I would like to see those two rotated more as well

Something like this could definitely work imo:

Tibu
Dani-Militao-Rudiger-Fran
Valverde-Cama-Bellingham
Brahim/Arda
ST-Vini

This anticipation for Guler. Such a tease.

Marvellous game against those punks. They deserve to lose 10-0 and not 5-1 but I'll take it. Would've like to have seen a Vini hattrick, could've gotten it if he wasn't subbed.

Camavinga is mindboggingly great. This is his best position by faar.

Brahim did well but man release the ball faster sometimes and stop being an Isco.

Feel sorry for Joselu. Did really well, but Carlo persisted with Rodrygo until the ketchup finally gave way and now he'll never start again unless it's the Copa or someone gets injured.

Camavinga's ball control, awareness and ball recovery is exceptional.

Excellent ability to progress the ball from midfield.

We are absolutely crippled with injuries this season.

Now Camavinga out for 2 months, Vini out for 10 weeks to add to the already long list of long term injuries.

Not really Tito. Official number is 8 and 5 of them are out injured, with Ceballos closes to returning. Only healthy are Kroos, Kroos and Valverde.

They are going to have to use Castilla players at both midfield and forward until Christmas.

Yea. Can't afford anymore injuries.

Camavinga is a massive loss.

Brahim has to take his chance now.

If Madrid had Kubo to replace Vini  drunken

We don't have much choice with so many injuries. Hoping for a quick goal. The longer the game goes without us scoring the more anxious we'll become.

You’re too negative IMO! For once we have a squad where all of them can contribute and has the confidence of Carlo.i think we get by until Christmas and hopefully then we can get most of the injured back in time for CL competition. It’s really up to the bench strength to make the most of their opportunities. As for today, the lineup seems strong enough to beat a team near bottom of liga!

We did really well last night. Rodrygo was a man on a mission.

Valverde has quitely put in multiple motm performances this season without getting recognition oh and Lunin>Kepa.

Great game vs Napoli

Even with the missing players. The team looked good in attack.

Ancelotti is a boss at this game really.

Shaky moments in defence.

One centre back please drinking

The way the team has stepped up with all these injuries has been impressive and unexpected lol. Kroos is aging like fine wine, Bellingham and brahim have been fantastic

Girona v Barca next week. Hoping for a draw. We are depleted beyond belief

Carvajal now injured for 4 weeks. We'll soon line up with only Castilla players.

Hopefully there's some talent in the youth team.

Is there a new Carvajal or Raul or Guti there?

There are a few. Not sure if they are promising enough to make first team

Best of the lot is Nico Paz who has played last few games and got a goal.

then there is striker Gonzalo who has overtaken last season promise Alvaro as lead striker. He also has played some in last couple of games.

at RB, there is Vinicius Tobias who has been hailed at various times as a Carvajal eventual replacement. I actually would like him included so that we can see for ourselves what he might offer. IMO, best choice than Lucas.

And there is Marvel who can play most defensive positions and is a possible eventual replacement for Nacho.

And finally there are Mario Marvel and Peter, who have been called up before. Plus there is Theo Zidane, who might be called for his name! All three are CMs.
