Not an answer to my question, ter Stegen is the captain and points to his badge so how is that a yellow?  nobody can talk to the ref now?

And btw the refs who denied Barca the last-minute penalty were also suspended..

Vinicius received more yellow cards than any Barça player last season, most of them were precisely for arguing with refs Laughing Cherry picking a rare example where he somehow got away with it in an effort to prove that Madrid gets preferential treatment is asinine.

I'm not sure how this ref brainrot took over an entire fan base. Every little thing is turned into a controversy on a weekly basis. It's like Barça fans are actively looking for something to complain about when watching these games. This week, a meaningless little tussle in the box and a yellow for arguing with the ref received more attention from Barça Twitter than the actual game itself Laughing

I think if Vini had gotten just one more yellow during that time the shit would've hit the fan. He was so marginalised last season the situation was just begging for a lighter and abit of petrol to blow up completely.

PS: it did blow up later on when Vini was shown a red card for pointing at racist bigots in the stands and trying to get out of a headlock.

So far so good this season. The ref actually showed a yellow card for a tackle on Vini....a miracle i know.

Also, those two videos highlights exactly what is wrong with Barca and their oblivious supporters. Look how many Barca players are surrounding the referees and look at how many of our players are speaking to the referee. In fact, Benz is probably only there because the ref walked up to him to speak to the "captain" boy was nowhere to be seen when we needed a captain lmao

I don’t think it’s a controversy but I’m just asking. Ter Stegen comes in and shoves fdj aside and points at the captain badge gets a yellow? Those are little things but it happens every freaking game

It’s like the quality of refereeing goes down every season somehow

True. Because I’m honestly asking and seem to get no answer other than the Madrid lore of Barca inventing ref crowding nonsense… I know that rules have changed for arguing with the ref for this season so I’m genuinely asking whether captains are not exempt anymore either..?

He probably got one for failing to control his teammates who were hanging about far too long.

I hope they continue being this harsh. Ref crowding make the games unwatchable

Ask your club. They pay big money to know how the refs are operating!

Better still, if it was an incorrect call, why isn’t Xavi complaining. He has been whining about everything this season, yet nothing about this!

Both of your clubs will be rekt by EPL in years to come, might as well join forces against them instead of bitching about refs :coffee:

We tried kickstarting the Super League but it basically fell apart at this point, the real super League was the Premier League from the start.

Who knows.

Reality is, grass will always be greener at the Bernabeu and Camp Nou, regardless of how much money EPL spends.

In terms of green grass, only United can come close to such legacy but the club is in absolute shambles right now.

It has turned out exactly as I predicted, they couldn’t find concrete evidence. That doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. If you want to compare take at look at the naive one’s constant posts or your friend harmonica. Constant statements that Flo is paying everyone, yet there has never been an actual accusation. At least in the Barca case there has been proven corruption and with regards to referees, payments that led to the investigations.

However my point was not about any corruption, it was stated that the money spent was to know how the referees were operating, which is what your supposed question was about.

Rubiales about to step down. Crazy to think they can do all sorts of immoral shit but it is his blatant disregard for boundaries that is the final nail in the coffin.

Pedri out injured for over a month

This guy is gassed after 20 minutes of play and gets injured for half of the games Rolling Eyes

Now we need Felix even more. Time to sell Pedri and prioritize Fermin Lopez development imo

Laughing Pedri will become the new Dembele. Always injured and elevated to heights he has no place being just because his alternatives are terrible.
