He was always unavailable for the important games anyway. The problem is that his release clause is 50m right now , half of which will go to himself and his agent. Tomorrow his release rises to 100m and all goes to Barca.

Regarding Hoijlund though, pretty sure more than the rival fans or the pundits, I fear our own fans. A few underwhelming displays and they will start crying. The kid's what 20 feck. Pretty sure he wont be even ready until a coupe of seasons to regularly lead the line for us.

I'd say 50M is decent recoup on Dembele but then you remember that 50M really doesnt get you much at all when ur a bigger club...unless u get lucky af.

Fabrizio Romano... why do I get the feeling hes just another fraudster? Use attention grabbing tweets n flip flops on countless so called transfers day by day or even hours? Some of them come true n some dont? N hate that here we go shit lol.... or am I wrong?

Definitely hope Dembele stays, hes really one of the last remaining fav players I like now at Barca... I like the likes of Gundogan n Lewand, but they are past their prime, n a few others, but Dembele is the most exciting... if he goes then we only have Raphinha to watch, oh n Ferran n Fati Looooooooooooooool....

Xavi is naive for thinking that a player who agreed only to a 2 year deal wouldn't eventually look to leave if a better offer came along.

QSG are here again, paying absurd amounts of money to a guy who has no loyalty to them and only joined them because they made a crazy economical offer. What could go wrong? Laughing

I guess PSG are signing Fembele as a replacement for when Mbappe leaves (although, no player (other than Haaland) can be considered a "replacement" for a player as skillful as Mbappe.

And at PSG he's got a great chance of winning trophies there. Plus, they have lots of money to spend on wages. So it's a very tempting club to join.

PSG are apparently signing BOTH Muani and Ramos too....interesting. Those are the only other highly rated (for their potential) CF's on the market with us signing Hojlund too.

the striker market was already really thin in terms of available quality. I think Kane will end up at Bayern so I'm curious who they replace him with. Vlahovic maybe? or Osimhen, who would cost 150M and probably wouldnt want to join them.

PSG... been thinking they are done now after all these yrs of CL failures n MNM seemingly over already... but Enrique there now n their endless amount of money able to spend means they will also be a force I guess. Although somewhat diminished since the Saudis have joined the party Razz

But still can just see too many stars there already, as always the task if how to manger all of them n keep everyone happy whilst producing a balanced effective team. Maybe MNM being gone the player power problem will be lessened n Enrique can finally fix it? So many stars means they will always be fun to watch though. Wouldnt mind drawing them for the CL group just for fun... we have had too many repetitive match ups in recent yrs...

Cancelo has been on n off since Jan. right? I guess we definitely need someone now that Dembele is gone on our right side with only Raphinha now. Cancelo definitely a positive considering we dont even have a RB, n I envision him pinging crosses for Lewand headed goals Very Happy
