Is Cancelo still pretending to be a full back ?

I remember his days at Juve, would do good things in attack and was a liability in defense, in the end it cancels out. That's probably how he got his nickname.

Then he was one of the world's best for 1-2 seasons or so it seemed, now decent at best again scratch

why did Pep drop him ?

Always believed we won this trade vs the versatile and reliable Danilo. Strictly offensive-minded full back is probably my least rated profile in football.

Correction when all the bonuses are paid Caicedo will be the most expensive. Unlike Caicedo and Rice we competed with two oil clubs and a host of other top clubs for Bellingham so the price was always going to be high due to demand. PersonalI think 80ME would've been more appropriate but since we were competing with pretty much all of Europe that became an unrealistic dream. Caicedo has what one season in the EPL Laughing

and Arsenal paying in the excess of 100ME for the english Parejo goes to show how badly EPL and their infinite cash flow have distorted the market.

Also if we end up paying all of the bonuses, safe to say Bellingham will have cemented his name amongst the legends of RM. We paid the last part of the bonuses for Benzema a season ago and it took what, 15 years for that to occur. We cover our own backs by having bonuses instead of straight purchase, like we did with Endrick. If they become busts the financial implications will be manageable.

Looks like Cancelo is happening then? At least we would have a RB finally n an attacking one which matches Barca tradition... I thought Dest was the one when he performed well for a bit at the start, lol @ what happened afterwards Razz

Obviously hope Cancelo works out, always proved his quality n started having issues more recently. 29yo, its now or never to reach top level...

Seems 3CBs is fully in fashion now n we have no LW n De Jong played CB last game, so might have something like:

He is an amazing player and for this price.. Can play LB, RB, can invert, can overlap, underlap all at WC level

Won't have issues with playing time for us because we play CBs at RB out of necessity lol

Nothing has changed. Highlights of his from last season was his rabona assist to Haaland at the very start of the season, and that situation where he somehow lost a 1v1 aerial duel against a significantly shorter and worse positioned Salah. Defensively, he’s worse than Achraf Hakimi.

Cancelo is the same as always, bad and nonchalant in defense, good in attack, poisoned attitude.
