We are 2 matchdays into the season and the drama has already started there. Galtier needs to get ahead of it before it all implodes. There is a power struggle at QSG right now.

I watched an interview all 3 of them featured in during preseason and I couldn't help but see that Neymar and Messi was joking around with eachother while Mbapay sat next to them completely left out of their inside jokes. No wonder he wants rid of the SA contingent. Won't be long until Vitinha starts following them too given they speak the same language

Mbappe has been pissed off at Neymar for his lack of professionalism since late year 2, early year 3.  Made a "peace" for the sake of appearances and there's noting personal frankly...  just professional issues.

Mbappe's issue is that Neymar simply cannot be counted on.  Last 2 years he was partying, out of shape and mostly injured as a result.  Suddenly, he gets in shape right before the WC and should be given his status back?  No way.  Mbappe has been there every day, giving 100% and carrying the team for 2 years now.

Neymar is on his way out anyhow.  His early form is the best thing that could have ever happened for PSG.  Now they can likely find someone to take him and pay his whole salary.

I guarantee you guys that Neymar will revert to his fat, unprofessional normal self as soon as the WC is over.  Seen this movie a million times.

If Neymar wants to make a case to take penalties you do that after the game and the manager decides. You don't take away the pk from your teammates.

on paper they never had the chance to be as good as MSN. In the MSN trio all three of them complemented each other and had defined roles.

While in this trio Mbappe doesn't have the technical guile and smarts to play up top, he's pretty much a pace and inshallah merchant that has good enough skill to pull off dribbles and a good level of finishing from the left side of attack. Therefore this leaves Neymar in no man's land because Neymar isn't a pure 9, he has always been more of a supporting striker that drifts around like a 10. But of course Messi is too old now that there really is no other position for Messi to occupy but those deep-lying 10 positions to initiate the attacks because he is by far the best passer and highest IQ player in that team. So yea, these are the biggest reasons that this trio has always been fated to fail.

In an ideal world it would only have worked if Messi was younger so that he could play more on the right side like his younger days with Eto'o and Henry, and Neymar was less of a diva and had prime Griezmann work rate.
