A monster in the making - but is Neymar the new Ronaldo or the new Robinho?
http://www.goal.com/en/news/1717/editorial/2011/06/15/2532827/a-monster-in-the-making-but-is-real-madrid-target-neymar-the-new-
this article is a joke.
All things mentioned have occurred about a year ago. Since the last problems he had with Dorival, Neymar has simply stopped making trouble either on or off the pitch. And under current Santos coach Muricy, he is even better. He doesn't complain anymore, he doesn't sulk, and the only thing I don't approve of is his diving, but that doesn't mean he is a bad person. The article's author is trying to create an image to the international public that Neymar had in Brazil a year ago, when many people thought he was the new Robinho.
I remember when I was visiting Brazil last year, and I talked to a friend (who is not a Santos fan), and as we watched the Copa do Brasil final, he said that "Neymar is probably another Robinho, a mascarado, with all the showy stuff but will eventually flop."
Many months later, we talked over the internet, and he said "I am changing my opinion about Neymar.. he's maturing a lot." And nowadays he agrees Neymar is not a new Robinho. In fact, most experts agree that Neymar is already better and more mature than Robinho was at his age.
Yes, Neymar might become the kind of superstar that C. Ronaldo is, and might never be as good as Lionel Messi. But then again, many people already believe that not even Ronaldo Fenomeno was as good as Messi is.
Anyway, I am just posting this here because I wanna remind people that the Neymar described in the article is the old, younger Neymar. Not the current one. And that goal.com sucks lol. Neymar is young, and next week he might be winning a Libertadores title that neither Robinho nor Ronaldo ever have won.
Oh, and that penalty thing, in which he stopped and waited for the GK to fall before the actually kicked the ball, was not something he invented. Everyone was doing it in Brazil, until it was forbidden by FIFA.
The fact is that Neymar has the potential to become Brazil's biggest player since Ronaldinho, and even if he doens't, I don't think he'll be a new Robinho.. people have to stop with the silly comparisons.

All of Goal's article's are jokes.
They said Chelsea should buy De Jong even though we have never been linked with him.
I don't even go to the site anymore.

Ben HayFailward is a terrible writer. Not too long ago he wrote that Barcelona needs to sell Villa and sign Rossi, Sanchez and Pastore. The good writers from goal are Robin Bairner, Clark Whitney and when it comes to football history Carlo Garganese. All the others are just plain rubbish.

The Goal.com comedy articles for (big) games are pretty cool, though.

I like one goal.com writer, and that's Daniel Edwards because he actually lives down in Argentina and knows what he's talking about.
Anyway, can you guys actually recommend some good, trustworthy English websites ?

Neymar is neither Ronaldo nor Robinho, that much is already clear.
Neymar, nor Robinho are the cancers people like to portray them as.
To be honest, shouldnt we care more about their game anyway? How they play?
On that note, he isnt Robinho either, he is already a better finisher then Robinho ever was.
He isnt Ronaldo though, but who is? Ronaldo was something out of this world, guys like him dont come along twice in one lifetime.
