We're about to sign Khephren Thuram (a DM !!) from Nice, might trade him for Milik

We signed 2 DMs who can also play CM

Since i subscribed to GL i probably said 100 times we need to buy a ball recuperator, it's finally done

Douglas Luiz from Villa and Khephren Thuram from Nice, i'm confident the former can integrate the starting XI. Not sure about Thuram he does not seem highly rated, rotation material i guess.

That means we can now afford to tell Rabiot to FUCK OFF outta here

Reports on Sancho legit or no?

I don't know if I watched a non-representative game, but the one time I saw Thuram he looked like he was head and shoulders above the other 21 players on the field.

He could defend, he could pass, he could dribble, he was mobile, he even had a shot on him. Just one game though.

Rabiot is overrated. He was only good for 1 out of 5 seasons, which was 22-23 while expecting a contract renewal. New management was smart enough to re-sign him for just one more season and now he's asking 10m per year

Sancho links are real but reportedly Man Utd is asking for a deluded sum 50m. In my opinion the good ol loan + option to buy is the way to go. We are short of wingers and forwards, would take him in a heartbeat, especially with Chiesa likely getting sold.

How is that a deluded sum in this day and age? It's a formality by now.

Forget not his performances for Dortmund pre United and this season on loan.

Hes also 24 and for an Englishman who are the highest priced players its exactly as he's worth.

Hope we can get Rabiot if hes to leave n without a hefty fee We need some physicality n a good player... cos Pedri still looks weak often, n Gavis still out...

The english tax only applies to PL clubs

Sancho just spent 6 months on loan and we're supposed to pay 50m ?? This is just Man Utd bluffing, reality is they cannot keep him and Sancho wants Juve, i bet they sell for half that price

I'd tolerate a loan with conditional option to buy at 40m but we pay in two instalments

Players get past Rabiot as if he weren't there. If you want another Oriol Romeu but sugar-free version then go for it!

Mistake to sell Soule even if it was for a good deal. We need wingers/AMs. Chiesa is also rumored to be sold, leaving Yildiz as the only relevant trequartista.

Di Gregorio, Luiz, Thuram is encouraging. Now we need to sell a bunch of players, including McKennie and Szczesny who already turned down moves.

We need another (2?) attackers and another midfielder. Koopmeiners is dragging on, they need to close it or move on to someone more affordable. Todibo os also heavily linked, don't know much about his level.

Isn't Todibo a CB which we got plenty of, and Motta plays 4 at the back

Assuming Chiesa is sold we'll have Kostic, Weah and Cambiaso to push forward on the sides, that's it

Contract negociations are complicated we try to sell him to get some money back.

New coach Motta is not too fond of him apparently, he's not as incisive as he was in his first season here due to multiple injuries.

Well if we can't replace him with a guy like Sancho or whoever of this sort it would be stupid to sell.

Chiesa has one of the highest salaries in the team and seems unwilling to extend for the same or less. Costs are being cut and his contract runs out in a year.

Our attack will be dire without Chiesa, I hope they can find a resolution as he is definitely our best big game player.

Last i read Szczesny was staying and Chiesa might stay as well or else we'll lack players in attack. The most depressing news was selling Soule to Roma which makes zero sense. Rest of our sales are a bunch of provinciale players + Rabiot and Sandro we just release them.

We're getting Kalulu on loan, whatever, defense should be the least of our concerns

More like we need to sign a winger ASAP and another forward to cover injuries would also be a smart move. Season starting next week and our pre-season was quite bad. Yildiz was used on the left side because Kostic is injured, in the meanwhile perhaps Fagioli or Loca can be used as TQ.

So we play something like this assuming Chiesa is gone. Looks pretty shite on paper but Motta did wonders in Bologna with a system totally different than Allegri. Hopefully his modern tactics will be a breathe of fresh air and it improves our players general performance.
