I dont understand Klopp's decision to keep Salah and not Mane. Imo the latter was their most important player.

@Nishankly and @farfan i remember quite clearly there was one particular season... i'm not sure whether it's 4 or 5 seasons ago now... but there was one season where Mane outperformed Salah and was Liverpool's best player. I think it might have been 18/19 season.

So if Casemiro plays the CM role, it would free up Mctom n Fred to play no. 8s? They could rotate with Eriksen in there or depending who performs best replace him. Man U all of a sudden looking like with quite many options all over.

Btw, why did they let Greenwood go again? Looked like a decent player especially goal scorer?

Mctominay is for sale and at best he will be backup, I haven't watched that video but yes, neither Fred or Mctom have actual defensive mid qualities. If we don't sign FDJ I expect the midfield to be Casemiro + Fred + Eriksen/Bruno
