Re: The Official LaLiga Thread
That's true. I'd still play it a bit safe this game though. IF we go up 2, I'd take some of the older guys out.futbol_bill wrote:FennecFox7 wrote:Carlo is stubborn and will never change. Our XI, like sports said, will get run into the ground. Why is modric and benzema playing; they need rest ffs!
Especially benzema who JUST came back from a pulled hamstring.. ugh
You guys should relax a bit. This is last tough game until February plus there is a 2 week break coming up after next weekend’s game!

Must win game and it's a derby. Why wouldn't you start your best 11?
Benz played 45 minutes. Modric will likely come out next
Also, get shit on Simeone

They didn’t used to play that way. They picked it up from Mourinho’s Madrid! This is all on Simone, not the club!

Damn that was a clean af victory. Two stinging counters and basically ran a training session for the remainder of the match.
Well done Carlo and the lads, genuinely well done.
Of course, this is a Carlo led team so I only hope to God that he doesn't burn out the main starting 11.

No worries, we'll get Haaland
next season is a write-off, but 2023/2024 we'll be competng for the title

I’m not sure Haaland wants to go to a mid table team. Dortmund is a better team then Barcelona right now anyhow

Re: The Official LaLiga Thread
Sad to see Xavi still prefers Araujo than Dest at RB loool... that goal concede clearly shows that Araujo positionally is not right for a RB... just stop playing players out of positions?
Elche level we are at atm?
Although we missing lots of chances, but we concede so easily.

Re: The Official LaLiga Thread
Wish Elche could've held on but Lucas Perez was playing injured the last 10 minute without any subs left they were essentially without a CF. They could hold their heads high though. They have done really well

Re: The Official LaLiga Thread
Yea, we barely got that 3 points... we did create lots of chances though, but as expected the conversation rate is poor as usual. We prolly conceded those 2 goals from the 2 shots as well
Worrying for me is Dest seems to be out of favour... hope Xavi changes his mind, otherwise we gonna have CBs playing RB until Alves plays, or then even see Roberto there again...
Yutgha or whatever this kid is at least filling in our CF so we dont have to watch Luuk

Re: The Official LaLiga Thread
Barça kids are not bad. I can see the potential ceiling is very high for this team but both the team and the manager are rookies when it comes to key moments in a game. The number of mistakes and choking moments from this team is high, typical of a very young team.
Re: The Official LaLiga Thread
I haven't seen anything special from Dest to be a no-brainer choice to Xavi. In fact I remember him having more bad days than good days during his Barça career so far.BarcaLearning wrote:Worrying for me is Dest seems to be out of favour... hope Xavi changes his mind, otherwise we gonna have CBs playing RB until Alves plays, or then even see Roberto there again...
Re: The Official LaLiga Thread
Of course Atleti are useless when we need them. Where was this shitness last season when they kept scoring in the 90th min to beat us to the title

Re: The Official LaLiga Thread
Amazing we looking like 2 points behind Ateltico only... but may mean we need to fight them for the Europa spot, which we would lose

A traffic cone is better than dest, thats why araujo needs to play RB

Lol, you’re more than likely fighting for relegation spot than any Europa spot. As it stands now you are in a battle for conference league! Now that would be ironic!

Re: The Official LaLiga Thread
In all seriousness, Sevilla is easily 2nd best team in liga! You play them in a few days!
Wouldn’t surprise me if the other Sevilla team or a couple of others like Rayo, La Real, also end up ahead of both Atleti and Barca!

Re: The Official LaLiga Thread
LaReal are in a downward spiral. Rayo will probably not be able to keep it up for the whole season. Even Betis have been here before. Remember when they topped the league in Dec and ended up not making the top 4 still.
Barca will make the top 4 easily. It'll be us, Barca, Sevilla and Atleti in the end

Think about it, all European competitions being filled by Madrid and Sevilla teams
