Breaking: Jacare Souza has tested positive for Covid-19. His fight against Uriah Hall is off UFC 249. UFC 249 still planning to move forward, with consent of Florida commission per UFC. https://t.co/YjNvCzi64a

Two of Jacare’s cornerman also tested positive for COVID-19, per sources.

I don't think the admins care anymore if we post streams.
It's been a while since I've watched any sports. I wonder if my streams still work

So the card has starter. All prelims feature well-known fighters, so it's one of the few events where all fights are worth it.

Other guy did well to stay in the fight tbh. Another fighter would have given up at 1st round.

Oh for sure. Never seen someone evade that many submissions. Mitchell is one of the best at that facet.

Rather uncanny watching an event without a crowd let alone the usual atmosphere of the UFC audience.
Smart move by the organisation to cast a shadow outside the Octagon in order not to draw attention to the absence.
The silence still is loud, if that makes sense.

It’s incredible to witness. You can hear every punch, all the coaching and all the trash talk.
Only thing missing is dumb fans booing incredible grappling

Re: MMA/UFC Thread
Hence why the mentioned hook in the previous round was heard so much more cleanly. I certainly don't miss the crowd given the Jones v Reyes fight convinced me most of the crowd are casuals, which is fine of course.
Waterson looking far more confident here. My favourite classic UFC OG in the female division.

Cowboy is basically always up for a fight anytime. UFC shamelessly uses him without much concern for his growing damage incurred in an ageing body. I don't see him winning tonight, hopes aside. Pettis' taekwondo base struggles against fighters in Cowboy but his ability to handle both switches that the latter uses will come to his advantage.

I honestly think he’d just do it for free in some back alley if they wouldn’t let him fight. Dude is nuts.
He’s rich and set for life but continues to fight.

Re: MMA/UFC Thread
It is a risk by this point given his well-publicised newborn son in his life. Not worth the threat imo.
Not Waterson's best fight but she should take this. As someone who started off in Kyokushin the frequent pot-shotting in her is a problem where you just end up kicking air without combinations.
