Re: Erling Haaland
'Barca style'
We got people still thinking this is 2009?
You have no discernable style, the team relies on the heroics of one player, no amount of marquee record fee signings, racist NBA-loving, lazy fuckboy work ethic, fraudulent Portuguese players, will help this horrible group of players. This team will plummet with the departure of Messi, and there is no one to pick it up after him.
Can't wait for this shit Cule club to descend into debt and non-relevance

Even at the best of times our team relied on the heroics of Messi lol, but messi or no messi Barca would still beat Milan 10/10 times even with their leg tied to the dick and balls. Make 3 good transfers and we're back in contention for CL whereas milan will remain irrelevant for another 50 years at least.

Re: Erling Haaland
14 matches taken to reach 20 goals in the Champions League. Holy shit
The UEFA Champions League's all-time leading goalscorer, Cristiano Ronaldo needed 56 appearances to hit 20 goals.
Fewest appearances to reach 20 Champions League goals
14: Erling Haaland (09/03/21)
24: Harry Kane (26/11/19)
26: Alessandro Del Piero (15/04/98)
27: Ruud van Nistelrooy (24/09/02)
28: Filippo Inzaghi (24/09/02)
32: Mario Gomez (13/03/12)
33: Rivaldo (10/10/01)
33: Jardel (12/09/00)
34: Karim Benzema (27/09/11)
35: Marco Simeone (07/11/00)
Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland has now scored 20 goals in 14 UEFA Champions League appearances; the quickest a player has ever reached 20 goals in the competition, and in 10 fewer appearances than the previous record holder (Harry Kane, 24).

It just clicked for me that Erling Haaland's father is Alf-Inge Haaland , famous for being injured by Roy Keane.

Re: Erling Haaland
Ronaldo was a typical winger in his early days so I'm not sure if this is a fair comparison, same goes for Messi they werent playing so close to the goal.

I do remember him being a more traditional winger, initially, but I don't recall him ever playing as one in the Champions League. At least, not for Man United. I'm not familiar with his time at Porto. Either way, I assume he was only referenced for being the top goalscorer in the competition.

I just hope he does not join any club in EPL as Liverpool will never be able to afford him. He will adapt to EPL and start hitting goals in no time. Hope goes to PSG when we sign Mbappe.

Re: Erling Haaland
I cant imagine anyone having anything except praise for him.
Simply a machine. He might break records.
This guy was created in a lab.
What the hell is he going to be like when he improves on some small details?

Re: Erling Haaland
In 2005, there was an NHL draft that they labelled as the "Crosby Sweepstakes" because whoever won the lottery to draft him first would have had a franchise player for the next 15 years.
This summer/next summer will be the Haaland Sweepstakes. I reckon whoever signs him will end up winning the most CL's in the next decade. The physical attributes, the finishing, and the mentality. The elite clubs have to open the cheque book for him.

I was butchering the poor kid's name. I thought his name was pronounced like he said it in the interview for the English version. But the way to pronounce it correctly is totally different

I can't do his Norwegian pronounciation, due to how different his dialect is He pronounces his Rs like the germans pronounce it.

Reminds me of the Ruhr accent (Low German) of the Germans. Manuel Neuer comes to mind. Absolutely retarded accent.
