Laporta has been hyped for years after his successful era with Barça so naturally he is smart enough to understand he will have to make sizeable promises in his return, and live up to his previous tenure or least some semblance of success, as difficult as that is.

So of course a promise like Haaland or Mbappe, two of the most wanted stars in Football will be a target that will generate a lot of hype and attention within a stagnant last 5 years for the club.

He does talk big and falls short at times but no doubt he will put his all into Haaland given Messi is nowhere near what he once was, and beyond him the club has no one exciting of note.

Didn't realize Raiola was his agent...  so there was literally ZERO chance he was ever going to come to Madrid.

There are horrible relationships... then below that there's the relationship between Flo Perez and Raiola.

He's going to ask for a 20 mil agent fee or something crazy like that.

Isnt Haalands release clause at like £180 or somethin? I feel like if city want him, they'll get him. No idea how Barca can afford him unless if they unload the old heads

After visiting Barcelona, they flew to Madrid and are meeting with Perez. Next week apparently they are planning to visit other interested teams.

Haaland is the future.

I think it is likely he will stay one more year at BVB and then decide which project he prefers. Clubs arent willing to spend 150m+ on one player this summer.

That should put everyone out of chase except City.

I hope this shit gets sorted out quickly. Haaland should not get dragged left/right/center with this agent drama and fees. He should sign where he thinks is best move for his career in the long term. I am just wondering whether he would move to a club now, may be in EPL and then after 3-4 years move to Spain.

But he set a Bundesliga sprint speed record for the season at 36.04 Km/H, ahead of Marcus Thuram (35.97), Alphonso Davies (35.95), Kingsley Coman (35.68), Rabbi Matondo (35.66).

Maybe he'll set another speed record in the Europa League next season
