Re: Erling Haaland
It's probably blocked here, as well. That's why it's convenient to have a VPN
We're learning how to create our own VPNs in our programming course these days, so I might not even have to pay for it next year
The video is just a headed goal he scored against the team that's currently placed bottom in the league. Dortmund actually struggled against them lol. He's been showing some impressive jumping height this season, which might just be a result of having a lot of stamina after being sidelined with injury for a relatively long period of time.

Re: Erling Haaland
The bidding war this summer is going to be epic, biblical of apocalyptic proportions.
The last time I wanted a player to sign for Madrid this much was with Kroos in 2014. Then Modric before him. Then Kommander in 2009.
It's time for the Viking longships to land on the shores of Spain and march to the capital to put their king on his rightful throne as Madrid's new number 9.
All hail king Haaland! The descendant of Men Who Would not Be Ruled...

Re: Erling Haaland
Question remains the same, City have won everything and consistently each year domestically, is he the last piece of the puzzle to win the CL? Sure he will score 30+ goals each season but with someone upfront they do have more teams breaking on counters easily against them so I do not think anything changes until he changes the one thing City needs to change.
Take a shot every time I say change in this post.

Messi didnt go AFK when it mattered most. And back at PSG he had more g/a than Mbappe and Haaland. CR fanboys are cute.

Re: Erling Haaland
wat are you talking about. Mbappe had 41 goals and 10 assists all comps last season for PSG. Messi had 21 goals and 20 assists. The big issue with it was that 70% of that was by the end of November for Messi. He literally disappeared just before and completely after the world cup.
And I'm one of the few people who is defending that Messi was quite good overall with PSG and his fall of fafter the world cup was understandable.
HOWEVER, Haaland had 52 goals and 9 assists while winning the treble with City. That treble is just as impressive as winning a world cup. So just looking at individual performance since team success is the same... Haaland deserved it more 100%.
I remember Messi getting world cup player of the tournament in 2014 for no reason. Also won a BdO a couple of times (including this one) just because the media has a bias. I think it's BS.

Re: Erling Haaland
On normal terms Haaland should win this year. I enjoyed Messi's run in MLS but that league cannot be seriously considered as top tier football.
It's absurd to give the ballon d'or 2023 in october, with 2 good months of football left in europe and MLS offseason incoming. World Cup 2022 should count for the ballon d'or 2022 because it's the year in which it occured lol
