Yet Bronn reloads his crossbow in 0.8 seconds with one hand
That scene was so stupid LMFAO. Bronn literally waltzed in and out of Winterfell with a giant crossbow in his hand without anyone seeing him or acknowledging him. The guy who just last season almost had Drogon killed. And the deal he made was literally useless because Tyrion and Jaime can just refuse to give him anything after proving himself untrustworthy and ready to kill them. No character development for Bronn, he was an untrustworthy cutthroat the moment we met him and still is, despite years of spending time with Jaime/Tyrion.
With that said, it's scenes like these I can forgive if the overall story is good. Which I used to do for previous seasons but just can't anymore.

I thought they had the heat seeking missiles at the back too but now seeing this...
Or is it that her character has always been stupid?

It's not that the character is stupid, it's that the plot requires her to be angry so she goes the mad queen route

Don't watch this show, but it's some next level nitpicking to draw pictures of flying dildoes to illustrate why the plot has holes in it. News flash: Every tv show in history has holes in the plot, it's just the way it is.

There was no need to nitpick, it was pretty apparent from watching that the whole sequence was ridiculous. The diagram just illustrates one of the many dumb things about the sequence. And you don't watch so you don't know how the writing has deteriorated and almost every episode now there are nonsensical plotholes.

That isn't a nitpick, that scene was just ridiculous but cool to look at. Then again, Arte doesn't watch the show so...

There is this deep level of analysis of each scene to talk about crossbow reloading speed. Not a normal crossbow btw, we were told that it specifically made to reload faster. Yet there are also complaints about Bronn sneaking into Winterfell, without noticing that Jaime and Tyrion were not actually in Winterfell. There were out in a tavern in the town.
GOT fuels this deep need to over analyze everything regardless of the reason for it.

The Demon of Carthage wrote:GoT has greatly helped science prove once and for all and beyond any reasonable doubt that wormholes do in fact exist. I mean, how else can you explain characters like Arya and Bronn popping up like magic and with insane ease behind the NK and inside the Lannister brothers' chamber respectively without a single soul noticing them?
Then you have Lady Mormont and Edd who turned before the NK was slayed, but strangely enough their corpses were miraculously saved later and weren't pulverized like the rest. This could be a massive breakthrough and a huge step towards proving the string theory. Because, and since there's a fundamental quantum uncertainty to nature, you can't just predict or calculate how the particle moves, where it was and how it got to be there. Brilliant writing from the GoT writers!
If they don't receive two Noble prices within a fortnight, we riot!
Stuff like this. Why would the corpses of Mormont and Ed pulverize? If you are be this nitpicky then at least watch the fact that the ones who break into ice are the Walkers, not the Wights. The Wights are actual human bodies, they just fall down when the NK dies. They were miraculously saved, they were carried from one place of the field to the funerary piles.

All in the name of a good hate circlejerk.
It's about being alert to find holes in the narrative, true or not, rather than watching a show for the merits of it to be entertained.

Like I said, only thing that can save it for me is Sansa being behind Dany's death and she sitting on the Iron Throne at the end.
Why though?
She talks a lot about mistrust and then completely betrays Jon every turn. Bitch you are not trustworthy.
Because her arc is great, she is one of the psychologically strongest and smartest (if not the smartest) characters at the moment, and she does not have cliched cheesy motives such as Dany (destiny) and Cersei (power hungry) Also nobody would have suspected it from the start and even along the way that she could have become such a major player in the game.

So this is a good point to talk about "all the torture, rape and seeing my father beheaded in front of me was worth it so that I'm no longer a little bird"

Re: GAME OF THRONES - PART 9 - *NO BOOK TALK - READ THE RULES*
Almost none of them are sane.
Jon is only semi-sane, he lost half his sanity after getting murdered.
Sansa got raped, tortured and traumatized.
Arya became a psychopath after experiencing the worst of war as a kid.
Bran transcended his humanity.
Tyrion was trialed by his family and murdered his dad.
Dany got sold, raped, burnt alive.
Cersei is just an all out monster.
Pretty much only Varys and Jaime are sane at this point.

Yeah sure. All of us turn on HBO and sit with a notebook and pen to list out all the holes. No one wants to enjoy it, that is the truth. Because a few of us might have posted and criticized about something incorrect. Writing is not bad, its US who are bad viewers.
You can enjoy the show for what it is, but don't criticize the people who may not be enjoying it. Freeza thought the ship scene was epic, I thought it was nonsensical and I did not go snapping at him.
I reply to BC and RG discussing what might possibly happen in the books based on the show, and there I get a reply on how the books should be separated from the show. Wow, so cool, you can separate the two and enjoy both. Woke af. Always the first to defend the show even when there is nothing to defend.
You can sit here and enjoy the anti-climatic end to the White Walkers and convince yourself that Night King saw the future and knew dragons were coming to him, don't generalize everyone as nitpickers because we are not eating up the shit D&D is shovelling.

Re: GAME OF THRONES - PART 9 - *NO BOOK TALK - READ THE RULES*
Why are you feeling so attacked.
Read the post from DoC that I quoted. Talking about the miracles of science, wormholes and string theory, "a fundamental quantum uncertainty to nature, you can't just predict or calculate how the particle moves, where it was and how it got to be there. Brilliant writing from the GoT writers!"
This is talking about things that didn't even occur in the show
There's no good faith here. If you don't understand something there is no natural impulse of thnking that maybe you missed something. No, it's instead to place yourself above them totally attack the show writers about things they didn't even do.
As I said before, there are many things to criticize, but this feels pretty true:

I saw someone post an article about how Jon becoming the King would be against the show's themes and his character, so I give you this.
Of course, I also wouldn't mind Jon being on the Iron Throne at the end, but I just feel it is such a safe ending and I really don't think he is a man of politics and that he even really wants it.
But we'll see.

When all else fails, always remember to resort to this.
@EG I think I know what's gonna happen to Jon at the end. He won't be king, he'll go to exile North of the Wall and
He could go to the Wall and be the 1000th Lord Commander but there is no reason to have a Nights Watch now. Unless we go full WoW and Bran says "there will always be a Night King, the White Walkers will return" which is what Versacci and ES predicted last year

Re: GAME OF THRONES - PART 9 - *NO BOOK TALK - READ THE RULES*
There is some fine nitpicking no doubt, but that is the showrunners fault imo. I could, and have excused many scenes in previous seasons which in isolation did not make sense or there was something wrong with it— because of it’s immense storyline that was going on. Who cares if Lancel is stupid enough to follow a kid below the sept when that led to Cersei blowing it up and looking like a badass doing it.
The story is shit this season, that’s the problem. You can’t overlook Euron killing Rhaegal and capturing Missandei because it leads to this shitty Mad Queen storyline. And the fact that a much more interesting / overhyped storyline was quickly dealt with for this shit.

Re: GAME OF THRONES - PART 9 - *NO BOOK TALK - READ THE RULES*
Lol how were the white walkers much more interesting than the Mad Queen? They were a force for evil with no personality whatsoever, no engaging villains, no backstory, no nothing... a protagonist that a lot of people root for doing horrible things under the right circumstances is much more interesting and much more in line with the core values of Game of Thrones.
The core problem here is that they structured these last 2 seasons so weirdly. They should have both been 10 episode seasons. The 7th season should have been about dealing with the white walkers. And the 8th season should have been about dealing with Cersei/Targ reveal.
Case in point last episode should have been 2. The first 60 minutes about the aftermath of the battle were perfectly decent for the most part. That was a full episode. The last 20 minutes of shocking scene after shocking scene to get the plot moving should have been another 50 minute episode where the different parts were properly set up and we had some character development to make the transition more palatable.
It's laughable D&D thought they could do all this in 1 season, and even then that there was no more content than for 13 episodes. And people said so at the time when the decision was revealed. Everything feels so rushed lately: the Dany&Jon romance, the Long Night, the Mad Queen route and I'm sure whatever is next.

It‘s a much more interesting storyline for me than the fight against Cersei, which we have already seen. But that‘s just my opinion. The first scene of the show is with the White Walkers. The show itself sent the viewers the message ALL the time that this war for the Throne is not more important than what‘s happening north. Now it turns out that it is more important. I‘m glad someone is liking this though, and I wish I could because I love this show.

Re: GAME OF THRONES - PART 9 - *NO BOOK TALK - READ THE RULES*
BC touches a very salient point: they crammed what I think are 2 full seasons (ten episodes) of story telling into 6 episodes and hence, there is a serious, um, wonkiness to how things are shaping out. I have seen this type of show running when they literally only have 1 season to end it all before the show gets cancelled but this is not the case at all.
In any case, still enjoying it and I'm certainly not looking for plot holes or nit picking. Just glad this great series is getting an ending as I doubt GRRM would be finishing his novels tbh.

Whose decision was it to rush through these last couple of seasons?
I find it hard to believe HBO wanted to hurry up and be done with GOT.

They should have just made this season 10-12 episodes, I don't understand the reasoning behind a 6 episode season. Makes no sense whatsoever.
I'm enjoying the show either way, plot holes or not, visually it's a show like no other.
