Mission Impossible: Fallout
holy *bleep* shit
How does Tom Cruise keep outdoing himself ffs?
One of the best action films of this century easily. Comfortably the best MI.
Insane action. Some of the scenes are like how the *bleep* did he do that? Looked even better in Imax. Specially the last 20 minutes.
Loved it.

Re: The Movie House - Part 11
Serpico (1973)
This film somehow reminded me of dog day afternoon and then i found out that Lumet directed Serpico, Dog day afternoon and 12 angry men.
Funny how you can catch on to a director's style just by seeing how characters are showed. I really liked Serpico but Al Pacino's expressive acting in both this film and dog day afternoon was just amazing. It's incredible how you can feel so much for a character regardless of his portrayal. That's why he is one of the GOATs.
Great film.
Need to watch more films by Sidney Lumet

I disagree. I have De Niro as the GOAT overall because consistency, because Pacino basically retired after a The 70s for some time.
Godfather 1+2, Serpico, Dog Day Afternoon, and Justice For All. That’s five amazing performances. I have Al Pacino’s godfather performance as the best ever. It’s such a great character study and I still can’t believe he didn’t win an award for it.
I think De Niro’s 1980s were better than his 1970s run tbh. There’s also a case for the 1990s.

you misspelled "I never had a childhood", RG
Also really want to see Eighth Grade. Bo Burnham as director? A24 distributing the film? Amazing duo, has to be good.

Re: The Movie House - Part 11
Fallout is absolutely mental. Absolute masterpiece.
Not a single false note in this film.
Vanessa Kirby is a force in this. Haven’t seen The Crown, but might give it a go because of her.
Also this role was perfect for Cavill. Used him in such a great meta way. Bathroom scene was so lit.

Funny how you can recognise something just from the colour palette, similar to those pictures of Leo and Brad Pitt that already came out.
