just watched Legend (2015)
Tom Hardy is unreal, he makes me watch movies I wouldn't watch otherwise.

Re: The Movie House - Part 11
Forgot to mention this
Incredibles 2 -- 8.3/10
Overall I thought it was great. I thought they did a really good job. However, the film DRAGGED in its b plot of Mr. Incredible at home, and that's me not even referencing how absolutely cliché (in the new, reverse sense) and unnuanced it is.
"Hey guys we made the male superhero the star of the first one, and the female stayed at home but also didn't really, she actually had a fun and interesting arc, what should we do for Incredibles 2?
How about we let Elastagirl take the reins on the main storyline and back it with Mr. Incredible staying home dealing with homework and feeding the kids, and proceed to hammer that point home time and time again for almost the entire movie"
There were some fun scenes that came out of it but it really dragged on far too long, especially for an action film. And the Jack-Jack vs raccoon scene? Funny for a bit but how long did it go?
There were more filler scenes in this one than in the first, and ultimately that's why it's not as good. Otherwise I thought they did a pretty good job.

Re: The Movie House - Part 11
What do you guys think about Christopher Robin coming out on August 3rd?
I think it looks promising, I grew up on Winnie the Pooh and I always enjoy seeing that beloved franchise come back to the main screen. Such a wholesome, wonderful series with fun and memorable characters.

The Count of Monte Cristo (2002)
Great film. Had some amazing dialogues which i assume are from the book. Recognised OG dumbledore too
Gonna read the book now after delaying it for 10 years.

Great cast in that. Haven't seen it for a long time though. Have to rewatch to see what Cavill was like as a kid. Doubt he's much in it though.

Re: The Movie House - Part 11
Loved the book. One of my all time favorites. It's long af though. It's on my audible list.
Movie was a very good adaptation on it, though it cut out a lot. Casting, especially Guy Pearce as Mondego, was quite good.

I could watch Guy Pearce in anything. One of the most underrated actors out there.
Incredible he's never been nominated for an Oscar. He's just not getting the roles his talent warrants.

Yeah he's awesome. Just watched him a psychotic preacher in a lower budget western recently. Watched it for him alone and was not disappointed at all.

Since you guys all like the Count of Montecristo so much, you should really check out The Black Count, based off Dumas' father who was the inspiration for many aspects of the Count of Montecristo and a fascinating guy on his own:

Mission Impossible: Fallout
holy *bleep* shit
How does Tom Cruise keep outdoing himself ffs?
One of the best action films of this century easily. Comfortably the best MI.
Insane action. Some of the scenes are like how the *bleep* did he do that? Looked even better in Imax. Specially the last 20 minutes.
Loved it.
