Calma pls. They're all incredibly talented, so I won't tolerate any disrespect. Especially towards the white female tower.

Pattinson deserves it, have loved some of his choices, if not most since coming off the Twilight saga.

Re: The Movie House - Part 11
Nolan's choices of cast keep getting more underwhelming by the film as of recent. Similar to Scorsese.
This one is a new low, doesn't mean the film does not have a chance of being very good yet again and bringing out the best in them.
Just once I want a Nolan film with Murphy, Bale and Tom Hardy as the main cast.

Why should top directors keep on reusing the same top cast?
There's a lot of range and talent out there. Nothing underwhelming about that cast.

Compared to his previous choices, lets not act like its just as exciting to see names compared to the ones mentioned.
Either way after the doubt on Harry Styles and then onto his success in Dunkirk we all know Nolan will tailor these names perfectly into his film regardless.

Re: The Movie House - Part 11
How is this cast not exciting?
A generational director working with incredible up and coming talent.
Also comparing these actors to Harry Styles is so fucking disrespectful that it leads me to believe you've not watched single project they've been involved in.
How is Pattinson not exciting after Lost City of Z, High Life, Good Time. Same with Johnzel Washington after BlacKKKlansman.
Debicki is always the best part of what she's in. She can make any tone work and is a bit of chameleon despite her being a giant.
And it's not like it's only going to be a cast of three people.
I feel like these names are much more exciting than both Interstellar and Dunkirk. Dunkirk were no names and Tom Hardy, and Cillian Murphy in his least interesting role. And Interstellar wasn't interesting aside from McConaughey at the time either from the starring cast. The biggest star in Interstellar turned out to be Chalamet, and no one remembers him in it.
When a director only works with the same people it's hard to get excited for me personally. It's good to cast new talent get a chance and see what they achieve with the director.
Also never been a Michael Caine fan at all.

Re: The Movie House - Part 11
I pretty much agree with Freeza too. I am not a Pattinson fan and I didn't like Good Time, but I think he is of great talent and has a bright future ahead of him, especially because he's now getting better projects than ever. Regardless of my general indifference towards R.Pattinson, I am curious to see how this cast will play together under such a successful name like C.Nolan.
I also happen to like both Debicki and John David, which definitely makes this "weird" combo raise the hype and eagerness to see how it'll work out. I don't know if it will pan out to be a great flick or a shocker, but my bet is on Nolan doing his usual ambiguous yet excellently and carefully crafted work. Wouldn't underestimate this one at all.
Also, it was incredibly tempting to watch at least a few shots from that Once Upon A Time In Hollywood trailer, even though I am not usually watching them to avoid any kind of spoiler.

Re: The Movie House - Part 11
I admire the passion above even if it is relatively subjective as bear in mind the more important point was acknowledging that they will be brought out to their pinnacle as my excitement is not a commentary of what is, but a personal comment on my own excitement. Our excitement is not obligated to be shared given its as a whole, irrelevant.
Harry Styles was mentioned because it brought out resounding doubt worldwide and none of us expected him to perform the way he did, yet he did.
So if he can, I am sure these talented actors who actually have acting experience, can.
Read it again and the main point highlights that it does not matter what has fans think, because we know directors like him know exactly what they are doing.
On a personal note Interstellar's cast never excited me the least bit as it is but lo behold, just like Dunkirk in its muted and thinly spread cast, turned out to be fantastic.

Agree with the last part.
I actually like Nolan's new approach of using a lot of up-and-coming talents.
Fionn Whitehead is really good, and hadn't seen him at all before.
__
I still think he'll get some of the usual suspects. The main thing I want is a Tom Hardy leading role at some point from Nolan.
And no Cillian Murphy. I feel like Nolan has no fucking idea what to do with him, which only really Danny Boyle has known. It kind of pisses me off how badly he's been utilised throughout his entire career.

Re: The Movie House - Part 11
That is be probably my sexiest dream, to see Tom Hardy in a leading role in one of Nolan's movies.
Never thought about it that way regarding Cillian, but I agree with this too.
