Sorry. I meant Poland with Boniek. I had a bit of a man crush on Laudrup so I tend to mention Denmark for no reason when talking about the 80s a lot lol. Remember I was a massive Juve fan at the time. Anyone who played for Juve in the 80s was a god for me.
Just angry at Italy for taking out Brazil with the most outrageous anti-game tactics I have ever seen. That Brazil team deserved to win that WC and put its name as one of the best teams ever. Was also massively angry at the fact that all the Italian players were involved in match fixing, got no penalties from UEFA or FIFA... and then turned around and blatantly fixed a match to take Cameroon out.

That worsens his situation tbh.
Jokes aside , I don't get this.
It's hard to find some suspected match in that group in Spain 82, I mean Italy tied against Camerun in last match. But Camerun was knocked out for it. So it was a good tie only for us
About Brazil match , indeed it had to finish 4-2 because Antognoni goal was regolar. But refere disallowed it.
Italy Brazil had to be 4-2 .
So if there is a team that was going to cheat that was Brazil .
Football is not wrestling and basically if you score 2 goals more than other I suppose you deserved it.

People mistake patriotism and nationalism with fascism way too often. Is it lack of education or just hate or bias?
Also why would one use this to attack another person. I don’t answer for other people’s actions.
Which is why you spent two paragraphs defending yourself.
Your country, Your fault...... I would know

Am i the only one who thinks Ancelotti is a bad pick for the NT, i mean sure he's better than Ventura, but entrusting the next generation of Italian players to him is like entrusting Harmonica to platinum ME:A

Hell yeah, all in all sounds not bad. The weather is holding up well enough, no snow yet thankfully.
Still devastated from this result. The Raptors are stressful. I have this gut feeling about Juventus not doing super well this year but maybe I'm not just expecting everything I care about to let me down.
I just hope that Ventura lives long enough to one day be my pallbearer so he can let me down one last time

No, Mancini and Allegri are more proper to coach NT even if Ancelotti is better coach. But simply leading a NT is different.

Meanwhile Ventura has just said that he is one of best coaches in last 40 years because he rate as relevant his score with only 2 matches lost.
Unreal , he'd have been banned on GL permanently due to blasphemy

The ref in Italy v Cameroon was paid off without the shadow of a doubt. It was freaking unbelievable. I didn't give a rat's arse about Cameroon (other than Roger Milla) and I actually didn't dislike Italy at the time due to Juve. But that was such a disgrace. Not the only one either. The West Germany v Austria match was even worse.
And Brazil utterly DOMINATED Italy. It was ridiculous. Rossi, who was playing out of his skin, was sporting 100% efficiency. He would score on the one opportunity Italy would have and then Italy just packed it in. This happened three times. Brazil managed to come back twice against that wall but a late defensive error cost them. Germany played the exact same way so it wasn't just Italy. Those two teams making the final was the death of football.

Re: Italy OUT of the WC
The 69-year-old, who has promised to resign , was sorry he failed to lead his nation to the World Cup, but believes his results at the helm were excellent.
"Without Italy it will be an ugly World Cup, but unfortunately it is gone. What can I do?" Ventura told Le Iene .
"I apologised to the Italians for the result.
"I still had some of the best results of the last 40 years. I lost just two [sic] games."

Oh forgive him. He’s just bitter. Watch him come up with excuses, fixed matches when I his opinion the best NT, France doesn’t win this upcoming WC.

You need proper footballers to win the WC, not glorified dabbers
