After one game, Ranocchia showed Matip how to defend. Perfect.

Hull had around 7 Center Backs on the field, Matip probably had a problem recognizing Andrea.

Re: Liverpool Flopping
Shocking stuff.
To think that Klopp has now had 4 transfer windows and we have Milner, Lucas, Matip and Can as the base of his team.
That's absolutely laughable.
If he doesn't improve the team next summer he needs to go IMO.

Not a jinx. Just honestly, severely dissapointed with Klopp's work at Liverpool.
He's flopping.

Don't understand why they still have a squad like that. Thought they were supposed to be quite rich but they hardly buy players even though they are in desperate need.

Re: Liverpool Flopping
They have the best CB in the league in Matip, best midfielder in the league with Coutinho, Best U21 striker in Origi, Best winger in Mane. It's so strange to see them flopping despite that.

Re: Liverpool Flopping
Because Klopp thinks he can replicate his BVB success with scrubs like Schmelzer, Grosskreutz, Subotic, Bender or Blasczykowski.
Problem is while Liverpool have plenty of scrubs like that, they have no Reus, Gündogan, Lewandowski or Hummels level of player.

On a positive side Liverpool would be scrubs without him as well so at least no harm done.

Uhh, we had our best season in 2013-2014 in the Premier League before Klopp took over. Even after losing Suarez we finished 6th which is where we are currently at.
No overhype please.

Yeah just wanted to point out that it's better to have a flopping fraud at a scrub club than with a legit club.
Pls. You had the peoples champ that season.ExtremistEnigma wrote:zigra wrote:On a positive side Liverpool would be scrubs without him as well so at least no harm done.

And to the 2nd part: That's exactly what I said. You were scrubs without him and are scrubs with him. No harm done.
Oh and you're 5th.

My bad, I misread.
Not gonna be 5th for too long though, United have a game in hand and will overtake us next week whereas we face Arsenal.

Yeah I don't expect you to stay 5th if you don't win today but United is one of the clubs that can always surprise you when they play scrubs.

Re: Liverpool Flopping
Need to sell Can, Lucas, Sturridge, Moreno, Klavan, Sakho. Lovren.
Buy 3 CBs lmao. Buy 2 CMs.
Then buy upgrades to all of Firmino, Milner, Henderson, Matip.
Impossible, of course.
So basically, Flopp is screwed.

Re: Liverpool Flopping
Other than Coutinho, Mane, and Matip the whole first XI needs an upgrading.
Klopp has only had 1 summer transfer window and he's signed Mane and Matip.
Don't mention the winter window. No team is going to sell us their best players during January.
Firmino is the biggest fraud at the club. I would gladly sell him and would love to see the back of his ugly mug.

Re: Liverpool Flopping
If you bring on Benjamin Woodburn on at the 70th minute to win a match in the PL being 3-1 down, You don't deserve the EL let alone the CL.
City bring on Aguero, United have Martial, Rooney. Chelsea bring on Fabregas, Batshitcrazy. Look at us, Morono, Fake Orgasm and Woodburnt.
Plz lose and start over. Season's done.

Lucas and Milner, 2 midfielders by trade, playing CB and FB respectfully. The former is paired up with Matip, a guy who Schalke basically chased and is playing like a guy that was chased by Schalke with a midfield of Lallana, Can and Wijnaldum.
How much money did Liverpool spend in new signings again because I doubt money was paid to invest in that cancer line up I saw today.

Re: Liverpool Flopping
Stop it. Stop.
You guys are always laughing at the signings Liverpool make. Fair enough. 90% of the time they are shit and don't produce the insane amounts we pay for them.
But which good players would join us? You tell me.
Because every time I bring up the slightest possibility of a good player joining Liverpool, this whole forum goes on to have *bleep* fit. You guys say yourself that we can't sign those better players. Like when I brought up Naingollan and Tolisso a few weeks ago. You laughed it off that Liverpool would never be able to sign these players. So you agree we can't objectively sign these good players but you still come up here and have a go at our signings.
You *bleep* cocksuckers can't have your pie and eat it too.
We are stuck signing these Wijnaldums, Emre Cans, and Lallanas because that's all we can attract. Our only hope is to keep signing these and hope 1 of them turns into a Mane, Coutinho type signing.

Re: Liverpool Flopping
You have a point in saying that its hard for Liverpool to get players, but there is are a lot of players at levels between Nainggolan and Can.
Zielinski is a great player on the rise. If Liverpool had paid up they would have him instead of Napoli. Leandro Paredes is probably attainable. TONS of defendes can be got that are better than Moreno, Milner, Klavan, etc. Glik is head and shoulders better than most of Liverpool's defenders. Van Dijk is probably a good call. Any of Porto's fullbacks of the last few years basically. The fact there is no LB at the club better than Moreno is inexcusable. Joao Mario went to Inter, he probably would have gone to Liverpool too. Many cases like these around.

Re: Liverpool Flopping
Zielinski would not be any better at Liverpool than Lallana or Wijnaldum is. Joao Mario plays the same role our 3 best players play and I guarantee he will not be starting over them as Klopp loves the 3 of them (Mane, Coutinho, Lallana).
Moreno was insanely high rated before we signed him. He had just won the EL with Sevilla as the starting left back and one of their most hyped players.
Markovic was one of the most highly rated youngsters in the world at Benfica when they reached the EL final and beat Juve on the way. You see what I'm talking about?
My point is when we sign these players and they turn into what Emre Can and Lovren and Moreno are today, all you get to do is laugh at how bad these signings are. Most of these bad signings made sense at one point.
The inherent point here is that we are simply shopping at a different market than the rest of the big boys. The chance of getting a successful signing is much lower given that we are also competing in that market against literally all the other clubs in the world. You get your 10% success rate like Mane's and Matip's here and there obviously.

Using scouts instead of signing hype would probably help but for some reason english clubs don't seem to like this concept.

Re: Liverpool Flopping
That's the point I don't really get. It seems of all 6 english top clubs only Tottenham have decent scouting. The other 5 clubs either buy crap or splash insane amounts of money till they get the right player.
Actually just realised Tottenham buy an insane amount of overpriced crappy players as well lmao. Forget what I wrote
