Always thought he was the main character hmm But maybe it is an even cast. Wonder if Nolan approached Bale.

James you haven't seen Ferris Bullet's Day Off, period?

Maybe I'm overstepping my boundaries here but to me that's almost at the level of not having seen The Breakfast Club. Gotta see it man. Such a fun, iconic and enjoyable 80's film.

Is it just me or does it look like Hardy is part of the enemy in the Dunkirk trailer.

The planes are shooting at the good lads on the ground and boats, and Hardy is flying a plane.

Seen the trailer and all. Didn't think it was out till next year?

Will wait for 1080p. Looks pretty good. Should be good if it's by Chan-wook Park. Shame Min-sik Choi isn't in it.

Watched Mystic River, very good movie. Eastwood is growing on me as director. Its main strength is absolutely exhilarating acting by its lead trio especially Penn who manages to make you feel for him, love him and at the end fear and hate him.

Cinematography was peach as well. One of the best of the year, if not the best.

The boys are the leads. Harry Styles and Whitehead from what I can read. Apparently Styles killed his audition since they were looking for an unknown for his role

I though all the trailers were good. At least if you were deaf. That music ruined everything.

The new one if great though

Very good thriller. Great suspense. Very well acted and directed and cinematography is awesome. Well ahead of its time I should say given it was 1954. But the plot was overly simple once I settled into the film. I kept expecting something grand but it never came. The ending was fun but again a bit underwhelming. I think the movie is slightly overrated given how highly people rate it but it's very good and worth a watch.

Also probably shouldn't have watched it right after 12 Angry Men which is on another level in quality.

Watch Rope mate if you havent. One Hitchcock movie that always gives me chills for its sheer brilliance of the plot.

The plot sounds amazing but I can't find this film anywhere for some reason (other than torrents). It's weird. I can find 1920s films but not Rope.
