Re: The European Super League Megathread
Perez yesterday said that there was a binding contract that all clubs signed on Saturday, it will be interesting to see how he tries to save face. Damning to his legacy as president of Real Madrid Club De Futbol.

[Sam Wallace] All 12 'founder' clubs of European Super League have been on a call looking at the 'exit strategy' from their plans. Source says - with some understatement - 'They have heard the fans'
lmao 'exit strategy', what a bunch of incompetent fools

The saving grace would be for Perez and Agnelli to step down
Least they could do

Being told majority of clubs now pulling out. Atlético and Barca also backing out. City, as reported. Americans clinging on according to one source but for how long?

I can't speak for Juventus but I don't see why he should step down as Real Madrid president, as long as it didn't impact the clubs current finances and things are as what it was before the announcement.
There's the PR nightmare but Real could win another CL and Perez will be loved again

Perez is literally the most corrupt person in European football. He even owns all the refs, remember?

Did Perez really waste 21 years just to see this flop in a few days? I hope this is the end but this seems too easy lol

Incredible. Was told the collapse may well see the Glazers cash out. This points in that direction. https://t.co/lUEjOKAyKc
