Suarez was what...  90 million?  Bale has come good.  Took him 2 years though.  Not sure what your statement about Zidane means as a response to this.  Ronaldo scored 12-13 goals on 200 shots or something to start his Madrid career...

Changing teams AND leagues isn't easy. At least the other guys went to a team with better players than the one they left... it's the opposite for Pogba.

I forgot to mention Lewandowski when he started at Bayern too...

i get what you mean, but i think the better translation would be "pogba isn't zidane"....

by the way i thought cristiano's start to his madrid career was very very good. he scored a free kick, and another flukish freekicks in his first ucl game (the goalie in that game was terrible), he hit the mark on the first couple of league games, and his impact, as well as some of the new additions like alonso was huge.....i'm sorry you can't compare that to pogba's start. in fairness to pogba, all those players you mentioned are primarily offensive players. and i think in comparison they all had better starts than him.

Pogba can only play well as a mezz'ala. Play him as a mezz'ala with an excellent mediano (defensive midfielder) and a regista, and he will be fine.

Suarez had 5 or 6 goals come January, which is my point.  Couldn't hit the side of a barn. He finished great...  But it took him 6 months to get going.
