What a strike by Lacazette. 1-3 Lyon. Game over

That goal was all Subasic's fault. Conceded a silly corner and then that terribly punch lead to Lacazette scoring.

Good on Monaco to go all out attacking with one man down. However, they conceded quite a few very strong counters to Lyon.
Lyon should have scored a few more goals tbh, a few times they were outnumbering the Monaco defense.

Oh well, its finally happened, Balotelli is sent off for stupidity in injury time, it was inevitable looool, Belhanda also minutes later, against Bordeaux who beat them in the cup, it seems they just got frustrated not to be able to beat them and get three points. Also saw Plea miss a few good chances and just seem to be thinking about X'mas already...

Is this the start of the collapse for Nice this season u think? Or at least, starting to drop off the pace, Monaco and PSG going strong... just 2 and 5 points respectively in front of them now.

I said all along as soon as the CL draw happened that Monaco will be a very tough fixture for City

most of GL (Pep fanboys smh) thinking it was a walk in the park

do not be surprised to see Monaco win both legs IMO

Stylistically they are a nightmare for this City team IMO

Monaco & PSG will be playing in League Cup final, so would the fifth place team qualify for Europa League??? What will happen is teams from the top-four qualifies for the French Cup final? Would the sixth place team qualify for Europa League???

They are City's worst match up on paper. They are arguably the best counter attacking side in Europe and do everything with one touch. Falcao is back to form particularly because of how early they get the ball to his feet. They don't wait around for a block so he is usually having clear one vs ones.

Id put Monaco as slight favourites if I'm honest except Pep lowers his defensive line
