The game is different.
In the real life the players from Barca B can be called up whenever, no problem. They are practically reserves playing in a lower division. However, once a player gets a first team contract, he can no longer play for the B team. In this case Halilovic, Sandro and Munir all got promoted so they can no longer play for Barca B. Gumbau gets called up allot for Barcelona, but is still a Barcelona B player so he can play for Barca B and Barcelona.

In the game FIFA, Barca B is treated like a completely separate team (hence they can play in copa del rey, be promoted to the first division and have to sell/buy between Barcelona and Barca B)

Put any players from Barca B into Barca's first team before you start career mode....

Samper's lack of minutes is shocking, and this would never happen with Pep.

Don't know what the kid has to do. Can't we throw him in at the end of games just to see how he looks in the first team at least?

Lucho doesn't care about our youth, or the future of the club. He cares about winning today and not how the club will look tomorrow. It's as if he feels his time is up or is under pressure, which explains why he goes for experience over youth. Explains why all his signings are 27 or over, because he feels they can come in and win. That's all find and dandy, but if he were to leave the guy coming in would have an old squad and a bunch of youth players that are note developed into the first team.

U know that's the problem I have with Lucho. I dnt give toss about results for me process is important. Results can be misleading and even if team plays bad with superstars we have we are ought to pull a win just on basis of individual heroics. But that's not sustainable is it. For us to consistently remain at top in Europe we have to have flow of young talent. After that one freakish generation we are yet to produce a single decent talent.
We shouldn't forget the homegrown talent has made Barca the super power not the fancy buys. For this purpose talent like Samper and halilovic should be nurtured who knows our playing style inside out instead of buying already matured superstars who no matter how hard they try are not going to be fully compatible with us. Lucho should learn from Mourinho what happens when u only think of present without planning for future. He may win lots of trophies now with current players but what happens when they are gone.

We may take David Villa as another option on loan at the end of MLS season. Also rumors we are in for RvP.

Villa is a legend but he's no use anymore for a serious club. Would probably get injured right away either way.

I'm willing to give Lucho the benefit of the doubt on Samper. He has the benefit of seeing him train whenever he wants, if he thinks Gumbau is a better for what the team needs then so be it. It's Lucho 's general attitude towards young players that concerns me, not a specific case.

Lucho should take notes. Laporte is a perfect example of a starlet youth player being brought up at a very young age and letting him develop in the first team. Pretty much same age as Samper and Grimaldo and the kids already been starting for like 3 seasons and experienced while Samper and Grimaldo are currently playing in the 3rd division. Laporte now rumored to being sold for 48M while we will likely let Samper and Grimaldo walk for free.

At least Kuyt sucks, knows it and has a good attitude about it. RVP thinks he is some kind of superstar meanwhile he hasnt played 2 good matches in a row since 3 years ago.

The images of him looking bored in Turkey and his attitude in that Czech Rep game were bordering on non professional.

Mirror are not so bad tbh, ( doubt they know anything about this mind) they seem to have some daily star, mail, sun type rep and they are not that bad imo.

The club is desperate with how bad our defense is this season and I could see them seeing Laporte as a great young CB we could invest big in and he could produce for many years to come. We all know how much they hate shopping for CBs so this could give them a load off for 10 years even if its a big fee now lol.

At least the quality of the names we are linked too is improving. RVP, Negredo and Villa...wtf lol
