btw, this is our current situation. Only 2 players that likely leaving are Douglas and Tello. Douglas is wanting to stay with a club in Spain one more season and he can get his Euro/Spanish passport/visa or whatever it is. Regarding Tello, we are trying to sell to Fiorentina but they aren't willing to pay what we want. Tello's agent said that if he an agreement can't be made with Fiorentina that Tello would be ok staying with us. Though I think it's highly unlikely that happens. Also wouldn't be shocked if we loan out Samper to Valencia. Luan would probably be the last player to arrive. Our only hope is that Vidal gets destroyed in the Super Copa vs Sevilla; that's the only way I think our club would force a move for a right back this summer.

well he is starting for the olympic team, so hes not another douglas
i don't mind the risk in trying a 23 year old and seeing if he succeeds
and our options aren't the greatest.. although with that offer surely we can get gabriel barbosa instead?

isn't barbosa like mainly a winger?

he also signed a contract extension with santos which means he probably wants to stay in brasil for a little longer

Luan fits the profile better apparently and is willing to take up the bench role, i think Barbosa seems like bigger of an ego who would have problems with being sidelined

More importantly, I think Paco is a very good player and I would rather him on our squad than that Luan guy whom I know nothing about.
