I think everyone in that film had to commit to an insane degree. Tom Hardy had to drop out and postpone multiple films to star in it. The long shoot in insane cold. The raw liver isn't really a commitment, I'd do that for free to experience it.

Iñarritu is confirmed insane tbh, everyone has to commit 100% to star in his film.

I watched 3 films this weekend

5 to 7 - Anton Yelchin is a great actor. Really liking him in everything I've seen. And the french woman in this is absolutely gorgeous. One of the most beautiful woman in cinema. Give it a 7/10

Tomorrowland - Decent flick. Nothing I'd watch again though 6/10

Before We Go - Have to be really in the mood for a romantic flick to watch this. I liked it though. 6.8/10

Yeah but those guys are basically pulling names which they want to win out of the hat.
Besides isn't it better to predict after watching all the films, we all know the Academy never ends up picking "our winners" anyway.

Watched Detachment again. Cant get enough of this film. In my all time top 5. Masterpiece in its true sense. Adrien Brody and Sami Gayle! Take a bow. What a performance.

Saw Still Alice last night. Not gonna lie, teared up a bit. The movie was great. 8/10. Julianne Moore deservedly won the Oscar.

Watched the Loft yesterday. Entertaining flick. 6/10. The suspense was more funny than thrilling though. I liked the premise of the story. They could have gone good places with it but they didn't.
