Re: The Movie House - Part 5
I didn't say I wouldn't watch it. I said I wouldn't pay to watch it.
I do like JJ Abrams material a lot. Loved Lost and Fringe. Loved Star Trek. Person of Interest was definitely interesting.
- Spoiler:
- Actually maybe I did say I wouldn't watch it a long time ago before one of your smartarses pulls out an old quote. But if it gets 10/10 reviews I'll possibly check it out because I like JJ Abrams material a lot.

Happy Back to The Future day, guys.
As of tomorrow, the future date of BTTF2 will be the past.
And yet no hover boards.
Gonna rewatch all 3 movies today as dedication

So do we know of Nolan's or Fincher's next upcoming directing projects?

Nothing in 2015. I'm hyped enough for the rest of the year.
Need something from these 2 guys.

Fassbender's Assassin's Creed project has got the most amazing talent behind it. Brendan Gleeson, Jeremy Irons, Fassebender and Cotillard directed by Justin Kurzel.
One of my most hyped movies the next couple of years.

Not a fan of the game, but interested to see how a video game adaptation works out.
Wish they would make a MGS movie. Probably too difficult to do it though. Del Toro would have been interested if konami hadn't treated him so badly.

Del Toro is the most overrated director right now imo and IMO hasn't done a great film except for Pan's Labyrinth. He's also a horror director at heart and wouldn't fit MGS.
From what I know of the game Bigelow would be absolutely perfect for a MGS film

Re: The Movie House - Part 5
David O. Russell casting Jennifer Lawrence as a 35-40 year old woman in a biopic when she looks 20
Not gonna see Joy at all. This director is everything that's wrong with casting this day and age. No actress over 30 exists apparently. Also movie looks boring, and I haven't believed Jennifer Lawrence in anything other than Winter's Bone and SLP.
Winter's Bone prob the only movie she played her age

Be prepared to be disappointed lol, no such thing as a good game tie-in film they don't exist.

Name me one with a good director behind it. Just one.
Also it's not a game tie-in. It's an original story.

Well, you can't. Because it hasn't happened yet. This and warcraft are the first to actually hire the talent and not hire some no talent hack to the job. Yes, i'm Talking about Paul W.S. Anderson. Uwe Boll etc. Absolutely horrible directors everyone who has ever made one.

The best one ever from what I've seen. Not saying a lot though. One of the only not-bad films on that list and I quite enjoyed it.
Fassbender is really passionate about this project, and when the director of Macbeth joins in of AC, it really should get the benefit of the doubt when you hire 4 academy award level actors and Omar from The Wire to be in it.

Yeah i think it'll be great. Just worried about the moneymaking potential of the story and how the general public would feel about it. It's gonna absolutely kill in China though.
