Leverkusen who lost at home to *bleep* Darmstadt.
I thought I had it all figured out.

Your own fault. There are 3 things certain in life: death, taxes and Leverkusen bottling it.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Hummels continuing to make terrible mistakes.
Messes up the offside in the first goal, lucky not to give away a penalty, bad misjudgement on the second goal.
Mkhitaryan though

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Got this one from an article in Liverpool Echo. The figures show the differences between average attendances in EL games (involving teams for respective league) and that average league attendance of that particular team.Liverpool Echo wrote:Average difference in attendance by country
England: 7,029
Germany: 12,600
Italy: 10,017
Spain: 6,067
Pretty shocked actually.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
I guess for the Bundesliga the "problem" is that many EL matches can be seen live on FreeTV. E.g. Sport1 shows the match of Schalke for free today.
I'd expect the matches of Schalke or Dortmund or Augsburg being pretty much sold out, anyway. Matches of Leverkusen or Wolfsburg (the "factory clubs") usually are pretty empty and ruin the statistics.

I read an article today. It said the VW factory remained open yesterday evening and the attendance for CL game was low.rwo power wrote:I guess for the Bundesliga the "problem" is that many EL matches can be seen live on FreeTV. E.g. Sport1 shows the match of Schalke for free today.

Well, Bayer were probably working overtime to produce aspirine against the headaches of the Gladbach fans, so they had a half empty stadium, too
