Re: The Bundesliga Thread
By the way - today the big Rhein Derby will take place in the Bundesliga, where bitter rivals 1.FC Köln and Borussia M'gladbach will meet in Cologne.
As there was quite some fan trouble last year (maybe you remember the Köln fans in white full body suits storming the pitch of the BorussiaPark), the police demanded that the clubs must introduce a strict security concept, and among that they had to give out only personalised away tickets, plus there were only 7% (3500 tickets) instead of the usual 10% (5000 tickets) of the stadium capacity given out to the guests. This measure annoyed the fans big time, and so the Gladbach Ultras decided to boycot the match.
In the last training of the Borussia before the derby, the whole Ultra block showed up, though, to assure the players that they weren't punishing them for the bad results and set up some supporting choreographies during the training session. They only want to protest that they were summarily punished with the Köln supporters who were the ones that stormed the pitch in Gladbach.
Interestingly, the Köln Ultras declared they wanted to support the cause and wouldn't set up choreos and optical support either, despite despising the Gladbach fans - but nonetheless they are united in the cause.

I'm still annoyed we lost to Kray last week. That was such an idiotic loss when we were clearly the better team. But Kray obviously were the cleverer team...

BVB play some breath taking football. They play the best football I have seen this season. Incredible.

I wish BVB made it to the cl last year. They would have been a drak horse for sure. The teams structure is incredible. Reminds me of Peps Barcelona structurally.

Apparently during his sabbatical Tuchel took some lessons from Pep. I wondered why he reminded me of Barcelona lol.
Make what you want of that.

Not sure he exactly took 'lessons' lol.
They hung out a couple of times and talked about football.
That Tuchel admires and studied Pepcelona is not really huge news for a young coach.

In terms of Peps positional game. That is what they discussed. Peps ideas and it looks like he has implemented them tbh.
