FT - Germany 3:0 Denmark

Well, Denmark should still be able to proceed. Serbia didn't cover themselves in glory today either.

I thought you were a culé. I've noticed posters ard here keep icons of football clubs they don't support. Strange phenomenon this.

In football news,
PedroOUT, VollandIN.

Uncharacteristic distribution by MAtS tonite. Sad Although all the boos everytime he touched the ball was funny.

Excellent performance from the team. Volland performing like a true captain and Ginter showing his enormous potential.

All Hrubesch has to do now is throw Younes in a bin and introduce Arnold/Gnabry in the first team. I would play Geis too but Kimmisch/Can have performed very well and neither deserve to be dropped. It's good to have players like Geis/Malli/Arnold on the bench pushing the first XI.

Younes had a crackin' match. Got an assist, beat his man several times, and put in delicious balls in the box which were not capitalized enough. Top 2 performer. Should def. keep his place.

He was saving him for Serbia I think. Didn't want to risk injury against the toughest opponent in the group since we'd be through with a single win anyway. We need him to get through

Sweden vs England today. With that much fire power it will be hard to beat them but I think we can do it. Kane vs our defence #rip

You'll win because we don't have the right mentality for these tournaments and never perform to our true potential.

You were excellent against Portugal and they are a lot better than Italy that we struggled with, not only that but our defence isn't the best. We have two excellent strikers though who could cause you a lot of trouble

I predict a high scoring narrow win for either side

Butland; Jenkinson, Moore, Gibson, Garbutt; Chalobah, Hughes, Carroll; Redmond, Kane, Pritchard

Two changes: Hughes in for Ward-Prowse, Pritchard in for Lingard. So the more talented Chambers stays on the bench, while Carroll keep his spot despite being useless.

Stones got a concussion and because of UEFA regulations has to sit out a minimum number of days before he can play again. He'd be a certain starter otherwise.

Don't know why Chambers has been benched.

Half time 0-0. Good game. Kane had the best chance of the game with the flying header. We have to stop dwelling on the ball which allows the English players to get into position. Guidetti has been excellent the rest need to improve in the second half especially Kahili who hasn't threatened the LB at all all half

Shame he's a Spurs player, really.

Chalobah and Carroll have been awful in midfield, yet again. Poor decision from Southgate to take Hughes off.

Tough pill to swallow this defeat. Carlgren had done so well until that brainfart. It was game over after that. Congratz to England

Deserved nothing but pulled it out of our arse nonetheless. Great strike from Lingard, though the keeper should have saved it.

Southgate has to make changes to the starting line-up for the Italy game. Moore and Gibson are average, especially on the ball. Stones and Chambers would solve that problem easily. Chalobah and Carroll aren't offering enough in midfield, so Loftus-Cheek should come in. Did more in twenty minutes than those two combined over two games. I think Kane has been very disappointing as well.

Butland

Jenkinson - Stones - Chambers - Garbutt

Loftus-Cheek - Hughes

Redmond - Lingard - Prichard

Ings

A draw would've been fairer. We didn't deserve to win either

Hopefully Portugal beat Italy so that they have nothing to play for in the last game
