The European Championship for U21 teams are starting next week Wednesday.

Looks like it could be our chance to make a good result. Our most talented crop since forever. Christian Eriksen could've been on

The tournament looks a bit weak without France or Spain. It's hard to look beyond Germany and England as winners - hell, that could well be the final.
England's team looks good, and Southgate has them playing a good style of football.
Chambers, Loftus-Cheek, Lingard, Pritchard and Ings make up a decent subs bench, too.
Of course, now that I've hyped the team up, they're going to flop spectacularly.

I'm curious who Horst Hrubesch will field as goalie for Germany as both Marc-André ter Stegen and Bernd Leno are in the squad. The two are extreme rivals (so much that the coach has to give them separate rooms as they really didn't get along during former tournaments 
) and both demand to be the Nr.1 - Bernd Leno because he regularly played every 3 or 4 days for Leverkusen, but MAtS has a claim as treble winner, too, even though he only played in the cups.

Dunno. "ter Stegen" sounds somewhat Dutch to me - but AFAIK the numbers were distributed that MAtS got the "1" and Bernd Leno the "12", which made Leno not happy at all, even though it doesn't really say anything about who will start yet.
(BTW, I found it really funny that Leno didn't even refer to MAtS by name in the last interviews but said "I'm playing regularly, while the other only plays in cups." XD)

They're not from Schleswig Holstein, so doubt there's anything Danish.
Can't wait this tournament. Højbjerg will rule Bayern This season.
