Hahahaha
He is a right prick tbh. Saying that our players were disrespectful, despite not saying anything at all before the game. No sympathy for that guy when his career goes to shit and Højbjerg etc are starting for top clubs.
Why you mad though, he's right.

Hojbjerg and who will start for top clubs? The other scrubs? rofl

halamadrid2 wrote:I think it's alot better to talk after a game rather than before it. Trust me I know, our players called the English players overrated and overpriced and whatnot and they beat us luckily their players had more class and didn't retaliate. Then there is that Kurzawa incident. That's why coaches are so political in their pressers

Regarding the game, it was an evenly fought game despite the score line all five goals were avoidable and came as a result of really atrocious defending. We are just lucky the Danes were at the end of most of them. That third goal really killed your hopes of a comeback that defender who just let Quaison run past him and get the ball without so much as a tiny nudge really needs his head examined, I have a feeling he thought the reff was going to blow for a free kick, you can see his hesitation alittle
I wouldn't have mind a small reaction. But Guidetti went off on everyone on Danish television, calling them disrespectful etc. Really uncalled for when most players praised the Swedish team and their efforts all week. I think it's the Swedish media feeding a victim agenda that's the reason for this.

That defending from Thomsen on the third goal was a disgrace, right when we looked to be back in it. Knudsen was horrible all games he played. No idea why he played after durmisi was our best against Serbia.

Also scrubs? Really? Andreas Christensen is going to be one of the best CBs in the world in some years. Already better than Agger imho. He's impressed everyone at Chelsea. Højbjerg being a leader on a bundesliga team at the age of 19, while being the most mature 19-year old I've ever seen. Yussuf Poulsen had an off tournament, bunch of top clubs in bundesliga are going after him and he's going places. Calling our players scrubs just shows ignorant you are.

Really hope you can do something against Portugal. I have my doubts though. Despite winning 4-1, it wasn't that impressive compared to Portugal's performance. But your coach seems amazing, had a great gameplan and played us the best way he possibly could.

Guidetti seemed frustrated on that interview but he apologised a couple of hours afterwards. That reaction was uncalled for I agree so it seems he has some growing up to do still

When we played Portugal a couple of days ago it was an even game, although both teams were happy with a draw to start with. We handled their midfielders very well, its our wings were we struggle and Portugal struggle with aerial balls so don't be surprised if all we do is play long balls and all Portugal do is attack our left side because that's were we both are vulnerable

And by himself lmao. You can't say he wasn't shit. Though it's funny how you always try to find an excuse whenever some German/Swiss goalie fails  Sleep

Leno should have started the game.

You really think Bernd Leno would have looked better with these sorry excuses of defenders in front of him? I'm pretty sure Leno thanks the fates that he was benched as the cup passed him that way.

Agger hasn't exactly been doing well for either Denmark or Brøndby this year. Christensen is amazing. Maybe a bit hyperbole. But I wouldn't want Agger to start anyways, when he's playing in that league without impressing.

Well, you'll be able to watch him in CL next season. I read somewhere he'll likely join Gladbach on loan.

I like Christensen a lot but Gladbach CB situation is really stable. I hope he doesn't go there, Lucian Favre is just looking for some depth players or emergency situations.

Jantschke/Stanzi/Dominguez are very solid. Too much to ask of a 19 year old with no pro experience.

Hope he goes to another club on loan.

@Blue
Martin Stranzl is 35 years old and pretty injury prone lately, Roel Browers is 33 and not the fastest anymore either. Alvaro Dominguez often is used as LB, plus he has been rather injury prone lately, too (he missed quite a bit of the Rückrunde with 'back injuries', which are often niggling and bad to treat).

That leaves Tony Jantschke as only secure CB option, and youngster Marvin Schulz isn't a starter either (he usually plays in the U23). If you consider that Gladbach play Bundesliga, CL and DFB-Pokal, they absolutely need some strengthening at the CB position, and the  player(s) they get are pretty much expected to play, too.

William Carvalho has been a passenger this whole extra time. I don't know if he's tired or what but he's not even doing anything. Getting overrun by the Swedes.
