1. No I don't think so, not because the quality of two sides but Ozil finally settled in London and played well last season. He earned respectable amount of money here as well.

2. No I wouldn't, both great players but I would like some continuity in the squad that Wengers has built last 2 seasons.

Ozil would be one of the last guys to transfer out anyways, there is no way Wengers would ship him out.

We can afford to pay big wages to a top number 10 now due to the clubs financial growth plus tevez,pirlo and others leaving. The reason why i said swap vidal for ozil was because i didn't think Arsenal would want cash as you guys have enough money. However arsenal would only propose a swap deal with Vidal because he is an excellent player who you guys have been linked with in the past.

I heard we didn't " convince " Oscar to come to us but If we have the money i don't see why putting down 30-40 million plus paying him high wages is an issue as long as it's not something stupid like 10 million a season after tax. Perhaps Mourinho forced him to stay who knows.

Very simply put, we are a club on the rise again and having the ability match the pay at other top clubs. It is an exciting time for a player to come/stay here, with London + CL + PL + monies +Wenger - oh and we've started winning things too.

It isn't going to be ease to tempt any of our star players away in the near future. Much less Mesut, who's increasingly gaining popularity and love for his abilities and has the complete support and trust of the manager.

And I doubt the Vidal smoke has any fire to it. We are stacked in that position and he's not what we are missing in the midfield. The club's strategy this summer is to keep the core squad together and only add what is missing. It is only the fringe players who are being moved on to open up spots for youth/reserve players.

Ozil rumours are quite strange tbh.

In any case. Arsenal fans getting agitated everywhere lol.

Like I said before, I'd be highly surprised if we sign anyone before August, and it will be 1 player at best. 2 if Arsene get lucky.

Can see us targeting Muller if he really is available. But today's Arsene interview (below)

Tick this one off my Arsenal Transfer Bingo card.

tbh it is annoying to see Schneiderlin go to United when we've been linked with him for about three years and has been an obvious signing as far as needs go for that time. £24mil is a lot, but who cares? We're not operating on a small budget anymore.

Anyway, for the most part I'm still pretty relaxed about this window, since we're unlikely to be going into the season and deadline in desperate need of a player or two.
