Even at 35 this man is insane.
Hopefully him and Lomachenko got together before he gets too old.
One of the best fighters I ever seen in my life.
Won his fight pretty handily but it was boring, I wanted to see more but he did just pick up the fight a week ago I believe.
This Miura-Vargas fight is good so far. Miura was on the ropes in the 1st round but came back and just landed a 1-2 knock down that split Vargas cheek open.
edit Vargas recovered an won, his eye is all sorts of messed up. Gotta give Miura credit he was getting destroyed but wouldn't go down, ref had to stop the fight. Great fight and comeback.
Yeah I cant claim Rigo is great to watch or in great fights. But he needs better opponants. His fight with Donaire was great to watch for example.

Re: Boxing thread - Part 2
I would like to offer another thing on Rigo however. People like Harold Lettederman piss me off, I have never liked him and never understood his opinions. He judges fights like a casual fan who watches 2 fights a year.
He says Rigo has to be entertaining to be a top 10 fighter...ridiculous by any criteria.
And he says guys like Zamora would wipe the floor with him...equally ridiculous.
Nobody would suggest Rigo is an entertainer, just like Floyd, Hopkins and many other greats, its not his style, but he most certainly is one of the best in the world right now.

Re: Boxing thread - Part 2
4-3 to fury so far IMO but it's impossible to judge. It's as close as it can get. Judges will show some sort of bias in the end to award either a win.

Re: Boxing thread - Part 2
Think there might be a KO late on. Klitschko needs it. Fury is getting more and more confident. Klitschko looks like he is planning retirement

Didn't think Klitschko would bottle this, Fury slightly leading.

Re: Boxing thread - Part 2
Bit of a shit fight tbh. Klitschko is underperforming rather than Fury being great.

Re: Boxing thread - Part 2
haven't kept up with boxing in years, last fight I watched was Wlad vs Hayes
thought Wlad might have issues since he can't rely on his height + reach advantage against Fury (who I've never seen fight outside of the gif of him punching himself in the face accidentally in a fight )

Re: Boxing thread - Part 2
I don't like him at all. But Fury deserves to win this.
Odds were 5/1 for him to win I made a bet on Nantes vs Bastia instead

Re: Boxing thread - Part 2
Fury should win either way.
It will seriously suck if he doesn't. Klitschko disappointing.
