Remember reading in here or somewhere else that Rousey could beat the male athletes including Bones

Who said she can beat Jones? He's the best fighter in the UFC ffs (well either him or Aldo, one of the two)

Coincidentally Jon Jones trains with Holly Holm and helped her prepare for the RR fight.

lol it's hard to tread around such a situation without sounding sexist these days. But it's exactly because of this feminist movement going on atm that made the Rousey hype escalate. So far as to people saying she should fight with Floyd.

This was the real issue with her in the fight. She was always going to be outclassed standing up, but she didn't even try to fight properly. She just walked forward looking to brawl...hands down, head forward and just slugging.
She needs to fire her coaches and move to a competent fight camp/trainer. Her entire gameplan should have been to get Holly to the ground by any means possible and she tried what...one half hearted throw? It was embarrassing how over-confident she was and how much she believed in her own hype.

Hey El Cujo, what happened?
I told ya, she can't mess with Boxers.
Where were you when I posted her boxing training video, talking about her fundamentals (and using RJJ as an example of fundamentals )?
This fight had nothing to do with her boxing technique (where Holly Holmes was always going to outclass her) and everything to do with her fighting like an idiot who believed she was invincible.
Holmes learned a lot from getting knocked out by Mathis and if Rousey can do the same she can come back a better, stronger fighter for it (and gameplan appropriately). The issue is that Holly is a very grounded, intelligent fighter while Rousey is surrounded by yes-men, has a terrible coach, and is very full of herself. We'll see if she has the mental fortitude to take this as a learning experience like Holmes once did (and for my money Holmes' KO was more brutal to watch).

King Rigo on the Cotto-Canelo undercard.
Even at 35 this man is insane.
Hopefully him and Lomachenko got together before he gets too old.
One of the best fighters I ever seen in my life.

Canelo is everyone's favourite but I am not sure if he is going to win this. Cotto might be too smart for him in the end.

I got Canelo in a decision but I put down 20 on Cotto at +270, why not.

Won his fight pretty handily but it was boring, I wanted to see more but he did just pick up the fight a week ago I believe.
This Miura-Vargas fight is good so far. Miura was on the ropes in the 1st round but came back and just landed a 1-2 knock down that split Vargas cheek open.
edit Vargas recovered an won, his eye is all sorts of messed up. Gotta give Miura credit he was getting destroyed but wouldn't go down, ref had to stop the fight. Great fight and comeback.

Wow, refs had it completely one sided to Canelo, but I thought it was closer to 8-4 or 7-5.

Yeah Rigo did himself no favours in terms of being a TV fighter, Roc nation are going to struggle to market this guy won every round in a complete borefest .
Miura vs Vargas complete opposite, they will surely have a rematch. What a come back by Vargas, saved by the bell and then stops Miura the next round. Amazing fight, and FOTY contender.

Yeah it was a good close fight and well the judges were always going to favour Canelo you would have thought with the crowd etc, I had Canelo up by 1 or maybe 2. I've seen some places where they scored it a draw.
Depends what you were looking for really, although Cotto did outbox Canelo and make him look a bit flat footed at times he just didn't have the stopping power and Canelo kept on coming forward.
You have to say though Canelo did look like he was a super middleweight, looked massive.
He say's he's willing to fight GGG and I believe him, lets hope its not a catch weight though and well if it is none of this 155 business, 157 minimum.

Now, I admit I watched a rerun while at the same writing on my laptop, but I genuinely thought Canelo won every round

Yeah I cant claim Rigo is great to watch or in great fights. But he needs better opponants. His fight with Donaire was great to watch for example.
