The 2014/15 Calcio Saga - Page 10 Empty Re: The 2014/15 Calcio Saga

The truth about Milan's wage bill is that all the wages are just higher than other clubs players across the board. Of the top earners, the only real anomalies are Mexes and Essien.

The problem is that Muntari, Zapata, Pazzini, Alex, Rami, Honda, Menez, Armero, Bonera, Zaccardo, etc. are all earning 0.5-1.5 million more than they should be. And I have no idea how any non-starter who is not a striker can be allowed to earn more than 1 mil in wages a year, 1.5 mil max.

Even though it really costs a lot, I dont see why milan sold 2 of their best players to reduce the wage bill in 2011. I was really disappointed to see the magician and thiago silva leave, as it made the calcio more boring.... They would have got Milan more revenue to cover the wages.

It's clear that they were sold to make transfer fee money for Berlu, not to correct any structural problem with the finances.

Yes, it is incredible Laughing
I can't believe it also because there are worst clubs than Sassuolo in Serie A.
I think they will save also this year, and easily too

Every freaking season.

In fairness, Sassuolo were quite competitive last season and they were missing Marrone when they met Inter last year who was pivotal for their defensive structure, whilst Berardi and others were also absent.

To lose in such a manner again though is unbelievable.

One of the few absolute thrashings you'll see during a Serie A season.

Meanwhile Napoli are in trouble, they don't have long to rescue a result against Chievo. They typically struggle with Chievo, it seems they haven't learnt their lesson yet.

Defending was atrocious & embarrassing but Icardi, Kova and Osvaldo were all outstanding today.

tbh I had doubts even about Inter victory . We  played badly against Torino , Vidic is banned and so Andreolli plays , all this when NT legend Zaza is in a golden moment and Berardi is legit .
But well , evidently it 's destiny to win 7-0 due in a row against Squinzi ( " I want to win against Inter , it is my dream " , his first words when Sassuolo got promoted. He is a great milanista) .

anyway  imo last year Inter won mainly for Sassuolo ' s demerits, today we have won mainly for our credits.

Icardi,Kovacic ( both 1994, this gives me hope ) , Osvaldo were great together ,but imho MOTM was Gary Medel

He looks like a massive upgrade in our midfielder, if he plays as today basically it is all that we're searching since 2011 Proud I think M'Vila will become a bencher now

@Swanhends are you ready to change idea on him ? Very Happy

Satisfied also for Napoli ' loss at San Paolo , Chievo is definitely their bogey team , same thing in Mazzarri's period, probably because veronesi hate so much napoletani so it is almost a derby Laughing , and for Fiorentina to tie 0-0 at home against Genoa

I noticed Matri is a bencher even also to Genova .
Great selling by Marotta last year tbf

Congratz for the win Rob. This game indicates that Inter are only superior to Sass. Thats it. The real test will come against teams like Viola Roma Lazio Milan Juve... These are just matches that should be won easily. It was disappointing to see Inter draw vs a weak torino team without Ciro and Alessio Smile

you haven't seen Inter last year anyway.

We have wasted so many points at San Siro against scrub teams (even worse than Sassuolo), tied even against Catania 0-0 , this because Mazzarri is good to play in counterattack and we have difficulties to open other defences without game ..
Contrarily we got 6 points on 6 against Fiorentina for example.
So your opinion is just a provocation Very Happy

I am glad for this performan ce, as it would make every fan , for the rest our target remains the 3rd place , and it won't be easy to reach it though.

I don't underrate for example clubs as Milan and Lazio who will play a good league this year for me , it is no just a thing for Napoli or Fiorentina

No don't take me wrong Smile I've seen you guys draw the easiest teams yeah. Inter were one of the teams who drew the most if I'm not wrong. Maybe its the style of Sass that was easily dealt with, as you thrashed them with the same resut last year.

I've seen many Inter games last season, and most of the goals come from the wingback with the contribution of jonathan/ Yuto, where they would assist or score with a cross from the other flank.

Against better teams like Chievo, Samp, Verona, you guys will suffer, and especially at away.

Anyway Mertens again on bench and Insigne as starter, and of course Napoli doesn't win but even it losts

I must understand the reason of this choice, no reasons really..

p.s. Torres not even on bench today . Injured

Wow, poor guy torres...

BTW, whats the problem with Insigne and the fans? They hate this guy... Mertens deseerves to starts though. I think that Benitez is trying to promote those italian youngsters, to make the italian team stronger as tavecchio wants it.
