I have honestly liked what I've seen from Algeria. They are no pushovers despite not being the prettiest of the underdogs. As with all underdogs that weren't expected to get to this stage, this side really has nothing to lose and no matter how large the gulf in quality is, that's always dangerous for the favorites. The Germans should (and I think they will) show them the requisite amount of respect.

Algeria seem to be playing with 200% commitment and pride at the moment. So this does not look easy. However Germany have the know how to see out ties like this. Eagerly awaiting a Germany vs. France quarter final.

After FIFA already took off a number of large flags that German fans brought as support for the DFB-Elf in the 3rd group match, FIFA now forbids the around 10 000 German fans to do a choreography before the Germany - Algeria match. Even attempts by the DFB to make FIFA give in and allow it were futile.

The only team that can beat this Germany at this tournament is France. I just wish Löw doesn't f*ck up the tactics again. He finally sorted out our defence. The offense will always come together by itself because we've got some classy guys upfront.
